Dedicated send tracks, like in Renoise. Then you just need to insert a Send device in a track you want effected and point it to the correct send track, which holds your wanted effects. It's a bit like Senderella, only simpler.
Works like a dream in Renoise.

...except you don't have to drag an instance of a filter (edit: a filter in this case being senderella; you do ofcourse put effect filters in the send tracks) to the send track, and setting up the channels is done only in instrument/audio tracks by pointing to the various send tracks (no fiddling with send/receive sliders). A couple steps less = better workflow.
Senderella is great, no doubt, but T2 should be able to handle send tracks internally.
