Damn just saw the 60% off Gforce M-Tron and expansions, but they've removed the Streetly tapes bundle which means it's not that compelling though maybe a good time to acquire the Chamberlin and Orchestron etc.

Sorry, we’re not able to. They are only letting US dealers sell Console 1 plugins now.autodafe wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2020 12:22 pm @Uncle E:

Here we goLoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2020 4:00 amThanks, that helps.Vleker wrote: Tue Apr 14, 2020 7:10 pmHard to tell, they had one with Black Friday, then one with the release of the new Triton and since then I'm not sure. I expect one soon though as its been a while. If I recall correctly all the older ones get dropped to $25 (instead of 29 woops) so the Wavestation and the M1 are great synths at that price! The GUI is the main complaint for most but personally I can work with that. I have the M1Le and was waiting for the collection upgrade to drop to $99 as they often do but then they released the Triton and bumped the prices quite highLoveEnigma18 wrote: Tue Apr 14, 2020 6:41 pmThanks, any idea when do such sales normally happen?Vleker wrote: Tue Apr 14, 2020 6:35 pmIt is regularly on sale though for 29$ or less!LoveEnigma18 wrote: Tue Apr 14, 2020 5:48 pm Not the right place to ask I guess, but what's the closest alternative to KORG Collection - WAVESTATION?
Just need a quick suggestion.![]()

GUI is a bit of a problem for me on my 2K screen, but for $25 I might get Wavestation (or MonoPoly) if at all.

While we are crying for small GUIs, Korg has released Collection 2 while scalable GUI. Wish I did not have to download the demos the hard way, as official demos are now available, via KORG Software Pass (https://id.korg.com/static_pages/3).
Meanwhile, the $49.99 priced products have been bumped up to $99.99, and are discounted down to $39.99 now. What the hell!

It seems to be a free update for existing owners, so those who got the instruments for cheap can now benefit from scalable GUI without having to pay anything.

The $149 upgrade price for the Triton plus scalable GUI for all the other instruments is much more tempting than the Triton intro deal was (same price just for the Triton IIRC).
EDIT: Oh, now I've logged into my Korg account it seems the v2 upgrades are free to existing v1 owners. Makes a nice change.

I just downloaded M1 2.0 and tried to activate it. Seems the "Activate" button is dead. Anybody else got the same problem?LoveEnigma18 wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 9:32 am Meanwhile, the $49.99 priced products have been bumped up to $99.99, and are discounted down to $39.99 now. What the hell!![]()

Do you mean for you it's $149 to get Triton 2 plus version 2 of all other instruments?
To be honest, their naming philosophy is bullshit.

Where in your account did you find that it was a free update? For me it still says $149

Yeah it's $149 for me as I already have what they call the Special collection (all instruments including Odyssey, except the Triton). If I can get the other v2 instruments now without paying extra I'll not bother upgrading as I'm not that desperate for the Triton even though it does sound like they've done a bang up job creating it as a VST.
Niklashe - I mean I can download the v2 instruments from the web site and the install instructions say the license upgrade is free from v1 instruments.

wow, tihs Korg thing is misleading to say the least.
you have to download all single plugins, simply click on the download buttons.
it dowloads al V2 plugin.
When you install, the first splashscreen says:
"No Upgrade fee
- The KORG Collection owners can get this upgrade without any charge.
- We changed the price of the KORG Collection plugins. For more information, go to https://support.korguser.net/hc/articles/900000587563"

BTW looks like Odyssey it's still at v1.1.3 and legacy cell at 1.5...
The "Special Bundle v2 Upgrade" for 149$ simply adds Triton to the bundle...

OK so I just installed a few of the V2 instruments and can confirm if you already had the V1 versions then the V2 will install just fine.
There are loads more presets added which is great and also the UI is a hell of a lot better and does have scalable GUIs. The only stupid thing from my point of view is that the maximum screen scale option is '130%' which means the MS-20 though no longer postal stamp sized is still hard to view on a 4K screen (yeah first world problems I know) as all the control labels are really tiny and faint.
They really should provide 150, 175 and 200% scale sizes like u-he and Arturia. I can't believe it's harder to make a 200% size than a 130% one!

Great to know that! But what about Wavestation and M1? How do they look? I am planning to pull the trigger on one of them.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 11:22 am OK so I just installed a few of the V2 instruments and can confirm if you already had the V1 versions then the V2 will install just fine.
