The hole idea of bitwig is, to have device's in the device panel instead of a popup venster. Thats why its nice to have a dedicated bitwig audio tuner so you don't have to browse or click on pop-up vensters.

That was actually one of my feature requests, i.e. to make it more precise, instead of 25% increments go for say 5%, as I need something between 100 and 125%.SmajjL wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 10:00 am So Bitwig is scaleable? then why can we have something like 137,5% ?

I don't think anyone REALLY needs decimal points?

You did? good job! let me +1 that then.
KDE plasma on Linux for example can now do something like along your request, it does multiples of 6.25% per step to minimize visual glitches.
How Bitwig graphics works i dunno, might as well do it right, if..
So that is, 125, 131,25, 137,5, 143,75, 150%

I absolutely agree it would be nice, I do a lot with audio that needs to be tuned, as far as I am concerned it would be great to have permanently in the inspector so I don't even need to select it!!Alex von Elzer wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 8:51 am The hole idea of bitwig is, to have device's in the device panel instead of a popup venster. I suspect if Bitwig do a tuner it will have a twist = maybe midi note output (MTuner does this, one of the reason I use it) or select a scale to tune to (tie in nicely with the weird scales you can now use!)

Every time I get a notification that this thread has received another reply, I am seized with mad anticipation that the 3.2 beta has finally arrived. Alas, every time, my dreams are thwarted

So what do people want for 3.3?
There are two kinds of people in the world. And you're not one of them.

I imagine the same that people want for 3.2, because inevitably 3.2 will add things no one was asking for, like 3.1 did

I never asked for (or imagined) the pop up browser and smart collections but it is now one of my favourite features!antic604 wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 12:08 pmI imagine the same that people want for 3.2, because inevitably 3.2 will add things no one was asking for, like 3.1 did![]()

That's not what I meant. I like & use Pitch-12 modulator, quick draw/slice, note chase and interactive help all the time, too. I just meant what I wanted from 3.1 wasn't included then, so my expectations moved to 3.2 and I think they'll move again to 3.3 soon(ish)SLiC wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 12:11 pmI never asked for (or imagined) the pop up browser and smart collections but it is now one of my favourite features!antic604 wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2020 12:08 pmI imagine the same that people want for 3.2, because inevitably 3.2 will add things no one was asking for, like 3.1 did![]()
