One thing you need to be aware of is IK's shitty policy of only giving you a fixed period to download your files after which you have to pay a certain amount to reinstate downloads. I think it's something like 6 months.

That is only the soundbanks. The effects and amps can be redownloaded at any time.

It is very frustrating though when your computer dies and you can't find the back up of those.

But it is limited to 30%, so I can't use them all. So $99. Might be worth it. I wonder if it resets my Sampletank and Miroslav 2 downloads? And I don't think I have the piano, which might make it worthwhile?

Truthfully, the only IK product I really use is the amps with my virtual guitars. It may be time to start doing the "use 5 effects you've never used before in a piece of music" exercise. Should I combine it with the "use 5 libraries you've never used before" exercise? Of course, nothing ever gets finished, but I have fun most of the time.

Usually with IK you have to add VAT after reducing it by the 30% Jam points ... so you end up with not that much of a deduction.

Yes TRacks 5 Max, but only Syntronik Standard. There are sales pretty often though you could pick up the Deluxe upgrade for around $49.

Yeah, what WatchTheGuitar said. It's T-Racks 5 MAX, Amplitube 4 MAX, Sampletank 4 SE + 3 MAX, Syntronik, Philharmonic, Modo Bass, and a few extras. So not all products, but quite a lot still. They will probably put the rest in TSM 3. If you own a freebie with $99 value you can get the upgrade for a great price at JRR and for that it is one of the best bundles you can get at the price point!

For the crossgrade price, it seems worth it. I'm not bothered by ST3 as I already own ST4 MAX. How are the T-Racks 5 effects though? That and MODO bass are probably the only two things I'd want out the whole package.

Some of them are really nice, others not so much from what I've heard. Overall its a solid package with some nice mixing/mastering plugins. MODO bass is prettu good as well from what I've heard. I'm curious if you can sell ST3 seperate from the TSM bundle in that case!

So I saw in the Bargain Only thread that Korg has released a Collection 2 SE (Second Edition - adds Triton) and the GUI is resizable (yes! old blind guy here!) and that there were some price increases AND current 'sales'. Help! Questions.

1. I feel like there was a Computer Music OR Beat Magazine giveaway of a Korg
(Maybe the M1 Le? Any clues for me?)

2. Or was it a 'freebie' if you bought a Micro Korg series hardware?
2B. Do the Nano 2 series include any free software?

3. As someone who owns ZERO of the 8 Korg software instruments, what is the cheapest way to obtain the bundle?

PS. I *might* own some ancient 32-bit Korg software synth, circa 2010 RTAS on TDM, I guess I'll try to log in? I'll update if I 'learn anything'. Thanks everyone!
