W11 crash on first demo (Win 10)

I've been with Tracktion since v2 and I don't know a better, more intuitive DAW. W8 is my last purchase and it crashed frequently for a while. It's stable now.

I demo'd W10 and it had a graphical glitch that made it impossible to use VST plugins. I talked about it to Tracktion, they were responsive for a while but dropped it.

I've been looking for something that samples computer audio directly so I demo'd W11 to try multisampler. In my first session, it recognized my MIDI device but didn't receive MIDI. I clicked on refresh MIDI devices..... and... it... crashed.

I tried to reopen it but nothing happens.

The price for upgrading from W8 to W11 is 109 USD.

I really do not want another DAW, I am very happy with the workflow and I like the new devices that they keep adding.

But this is it. I am finally definitely switching to some other DAW. Thanks for years of fun and best of luck with the future of Waveform and Tracktion.

If you send us your log file we can see what might have caused the crash. it could be something simple we can fix.

I think W11 was set to send crash reports automatically. But funny, W8 also crashed just now and it had been okay for a long time. I'll email the log but I've done it before and I think I need to move on.

Thanks, we do go through the crash reports sent to use but they're completely anonymised so the only way to link them to a specific issue is checking the log files you can send us.
As a side effect of this it means we often fix issues without people specifically knowing it was their's that has been addressed.
