You asked for it - here it is!

Version 2.0.16 beta is live, which features the ability to toggle GUI size between 100% and 150% with a button top right of the GUI. As always, you'll find it on my website.

I didn't expect to add this big a change while in beta, I kinda hat to touch all the GUI code again. So you might find a bug or two

This update also took 150% of my time the last few days, so I am a little behind on the bug reports. I'm sorry for those who are still experiencing crashes, I am onto it!

Post

fantastic! thanks for that. I've been making some presets. This helps a lot ;)

Thank you very much, WaveWarden !
The resizeable GUI make the instrument much better to use :)
The phaser works fine now, too, and sounds good.
Odin II is coming along nicely !

Post

wow...this thing is amazing! love it!

Post

yes!
resizable gui also works in the (experimental) AU version (mac, hisierra)
thanks!

Post

Works just fine in Logic 10.4.8, Mojave 10.14.6!

Thank you!
If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Post

ahh nice ... much appreciated update
REAPER, Phase Plant , Unfiltered Audio TRIAD and LION, NI classic collection,......... ETC

150% running great here, although the loading of the UI when re-opening is a tad long (about 1 to 1.5 sec). (win 10 x64)
I've noticed that sending OSC as a source to other parameters is monophonic. Bug? or intended?

Post

upon inserting odin i get following message from littlesnitch:

------
"hostingAU
wants to connect to www.google-analytics.com

Suspicious process!

The code signature of the process has a formal error. This probably indicates that somebody is trying to pretend a valid code signature, or that the developer used inappropriate, non-standard tools to create the signature."
------

kind of strange...
is there a way to switch this google-analytics connection stuff off ?
it's probably the juce compiler....?

p.s.:
fyi, littlesnitch is a mac utility that monitors when anything wants to connect to the internet
aka firewall

in this case, upon inserting Odin, Odin wants to connect to google-analytics.com

I might be able to speed up loading times - at some point.

There are monophonic and polyphonic sources and targets,
Polyphonic: Oscs, Filter1&2, Envelopes, LFOs, ...
Monophonic: Amp, Filter3, FX, GlobalEnv, GlobalLFO, ...

When assigning a poly source to a mono destination, it will use the most recent voice to modulate the mono destination.

If you modulate poly to poly (for example LFO1 to osc pitch), modulation will be per voice.

yes
it is in the moment (i.e.: mouse-up) i insert Odin that littlesnitch presents me the warning

i know this kind of behaviour also from other plugins
like for example arturia pigment, rev-plate etc
my suspicion would be that it is the juce api/framework/whatever...
...maybe there's somewhere a switch to turn it off ?

oke..well, i routed OSC1 to Filter1. Those are both polyphonic right?
I've noticed that when i use a 'long' release, the osc modulates the filter only when the release is finished. It will trigger a new voice to the filter and then it finishes the release again, before a new voice can trigger the filter.

Yes I just checked - it comes from JUCE. The only option to turn it off is me buying the Indie lcence.
Thing is, I'd have to commit to it for 12 months, which I am not going to do.

They announced an update to the pricing policy come June, with a limited commitment period of 1 month. I'll upgrade then, although I really don't like Odin sending data somewhere...... :x

i didn't quite get that, sorry. Could you elaborate some more? Also, feel free to send me .odin patches / sound samples or GUI screenshots.
