Make XY pads unipolar for any control

Is there a way to make an XY pad unipolar for any control, such as OSC FX? I know they are unipolar for filter cutoff, but I would like to have the whole of, say the x-axis, to control only the positive side of the OSC FX.
Maybe I am approaching things the wrong way and you can already do it.

Doesn't seem this is possible, XYs are bipolar by nature in Zebra. You can only make it so that one half of it affects the half of the Osc FX parameter, but the other half would do nothing.

Yeah that's what I guessed. Thanks for confirming it

Well you could always set the nominal parameter value to the middle of the range you want to use. Set the Osc FX knob to +50% for example, then have your X axis add/subtract 50% from that.

Not in Zebra2, but in Hive (and also Uhbik2, Repro) we have the "unipolarize" transfer curve in the rectifier section...

Thanks very much for that. So simple yet it never entered my mind...what does that make me?cthonophonic wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2020 3:03 pm Well you could always set the nominal parameter value to the middle of the range you want to use.
