I've just tried with Reaper. I found out that the log file is not created when Reaper scans MUX, but it is created when I open a MUX instance.

Well in fact MUX does create a log file when it is scanned but the log file is auto deleted when there are no errors. That's why you don't see the log file upon Reaper scan. More specifically the log file is created when the first MUX instance starts, and the log file is deleted when the last instance ends (unless there are errors).

Jo, are you able to successfully host MUX on Bitwig? I'm considering to cross-upgrade from MuLab to MUX, but this Bitwig issue is holding me back.

On Windows BS and MUX play well together, but on Mac i can repeat the issue you reported. Not sure what to think about that. Will do my best to have a deeper look at it soonish.

Using Bitwig + MUX here on Windows 10 with no issues. A rather beautiful combination actually :D Hopefully the issue can be resolved as the combination of the two is quite a treat!

Ok i investigated this issue and it turned out that Bitwig for Mac has an issue with a plugin that wants to popup a modal dialog on instanciating the plugin, eg to show its license agreement. Maybe it has to do with the Mac event loop that is not yet initted for the separate plugin process Bitwig is using? That's just a thought, don't know. Anyway i've changed the way MUX Plugin asks to agree to the ULA. That avoids the issue. A beta version of MUX Plugin 8.6 will be available one of the days.

Hi Jo and guys!

Just wanted to let you know that I updated to MUX v8.6.9 and both Bitwig v3.1.3 (stable) and Bitwig v3.2 (beta 5) are now seeing MUX correctly. Thanks for the update!
