I actually understand that.... If it weren't only $99 for me with the Jampoints, I wouldn't have bothered. But it really depends on how much you already have and how much you really need. Some of it is worth it. Sampletank 3 is okay. Especially if you don't have Kontakt. I used it a lot more before I had Kontakt. Sounds are probably better for EDM/Synth based music. I've been doing more orchestral, along with my pop/rock that tends to be more rock. So for me, the MODO bass is going to be very interesting. You have to look at everything you are getting to see if it is worth it for you.

I missed the Neutron offer at JRR because I dallied 😞

We didn't switch anything. This pricing was set a while ago, I changed the pricing on our site myself, and I authored the news. Any conflicting pricing anywhere else is on whoever differs from the pricing I posted which is 100% official and in this case as directly verified as you can get.

trager wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 1:21 pm The prices at the IK store, and in IK literature, have been the following from the start of the promotion:

179 for the crossgrade (from products worth 99+)

139 for the MAXgrade (from products with a MAX designation)

Evidently there was an error in the price list sent to dealers, which stated incorrectly that the crossgrade was 149. This has now been corrected.

The JRR in-cart price with code GROUP has therefore gone up from $126 to $151.

This is bound to be frustrating and a deal-breaker for many. But strictly speaking IK has not changed the price mid-promotion. The debate, if there is one, would be whether IK ought to have honoured the erroneous dealer price going forward. Presumably this would have required them to drop the crossgrade price at their own store, however, inviting complaint from people who had already bought it at 179. And I think IK could rightly claim that 179 is already bargain basement pricing. But it is certainly a tricky situation.

(None of the above takes Jampoints into consideration.)
It isn't tricky at all. We posted our prices correctly on our site from the go, prices in our system have been correct from the go. Any errors weren't on our site, we don't honor price errors on others' sites.

It looks like they switched, anyway, it's my impression and it's not a good one.
Where do you see we switched?? I'm sounding like a broken error but again: We have never posted erroneous pricing in any way for this promotion. The list I provided is exactly as has been posted on our site and has been set in our system (by me in both cases) from the beginning fo the promotion. IK switched nothing and the prices in the list are correct and official

For the record I never said IK did, I asked a question as I thought your prices looked the same as I remembered from the IK site.

Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2020 9:55 pm Total Studio Spectacular prices are supposed to be the following for these:

Total Studio 2 MAX $/€999.99 $/€249.99
Total Studio 2 MAX (boxed) $/€1029.99 $/€259.99
Total Studio 2 MAX Crossgrade $/€699.99 $/€179.99
Total Studio 2 MAX Crossgrade (boxed) $/€729.99 $/€189.99
Total Studio 2 MAX MAXgrade $/€499.99 $/€139.99
Total Studio 2 MAX MAXgrade (boxed) $/€529.99 $/€149.99
Total Studio 2 MAX Upgrade $/€249.99 $/€74.99
Total Studio 2 MAX Upgrade (boxed) $/€279.99 $/€84.99

Plus tax where applicable and required by law.
Just curious, what is the difference between MAXgrade and Crossgrade? I qualified for MAXgrade per my IKM account. I do own multiple products over $99 regular price, but technically not Total Max.
MAXgrade qualification is if you have a MAX product. Crossgrade qualification is if you have a purchased product 99.99+ (MSRP, even if you got a discount from us or a retailer that put the price below that) in your account.

Thank you for the sane question instead of the instant "IK must have done the bad thing!!" responses I'm seeing.

I see you asked IF we switched. Heck no. And I see that MAXgrade which is 139.99 could likely be confusing some per the question I answered in my previous post. That, too, has been the same since the promo started just that not everybody qualifies for that as was noticed/acknowledged by some posts above.

You miss the point. Multiple resellers had it at $149 implying that something went wrong with the communication from IK to the resellers. I'd like to know how that happened  Anyhow you can probably not do anything about it, it's just human psychology when something was cheaper that stings little haha (and indeed, you didn't switch prices, the resellers did)

Yes, in response to people getting frothy about IK I thought,"That's odd, don't think IK have done anything wrong" so I asked my question. If you're getting jumpy with me it's misplaced.

Ah that would indeed not be my department for anything off our site so I'll see if there was a miscommunication and HEADS WILL ROLL! Just kidding, slow burning sensation will likely only ensue, or some mild psychological torture is more likely to be effective then. :x

WatchTheGuitar wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 4:15 pm Quite like the look of Sample Logic Guitar Fury - lots of odd guitar sounds to round out my collection - and they have extended the intro price for a few more days which is after I get paid thankfully. It seems Audio Plugin Deals has a $50 gift certificate I can buy for $30 with rewards cash which should mean I can get Guitar Fury for $99 all in if it works.

Anyone know would this work or would I fall foul of the "certificates may not be used with other promos" rider? Don't want to be stuck with a cert I can't use.
Anyone?

Peter:

Yes, it's ok now. All I said was it looks to me/I had the impression (not implying anything) like the prices where changed. And if so, it would be nice to know that and why it happened.
I was planning to buy on a reseller and was already demoing and thinking over when it just suddenly gone up everywhere without notice why. That left me a bit in the rain. And it was not just one reseller, as said before.
