I didn't knew there were people who actually make music with modular synthesisers. I always thought modular synths are tools to end a marriage.

Who is the Tom Hardy of software synths?
Signatures are so early 2000s.

Post

Ummet Oczan, definitely.

Behringer made Deepmind pretty similar to Tyrell N6 ;)

Behringer made Deepmind pretty similar to...
... any standard synth from the 80's

They are making a very popular virtual analog synth clone...which could cover Hive 2. Look at theTop of the list ;)

I read this part....translated from German:

"After the publication of this speculative news, Uli Behringer has publicly denied that an access virus is being planned. In our status report, the assessment of this project was therefore reduced to 5%".

So Behringer makes Virus....right now ?

Anyway my original question was....

Not what single developer might make products that emulate those U-HE products in the future.....

Howard wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2020 9:50 am As hardware can't compete with the flexibility or variety of software, I don't think an equivalent hardware company is possible - just some fun devices from different companies. I currently prefer digital stuff to analogue because they are more flexible... If your budget is very limited, Korg NTS-1. Low to mid budget: Arturia MicroFreak or Korg Wavestate. If money is no object, Waldorf Quantum is a good one... quite a powerful hardware synth, though only 8 voices.

Or the "Osmose" if you can wait :)
Quantum is too much. MicroFreak not enough keys.

Korg Wavestate is intriguing...

Ive never purchased a hardware synth before. Surprised to learn they all have one year warranties.

Are there statistics on how long modern synths last? Any companies that offer better warranties on sub $2000 synths?

I wasnt disagreing, as you can see from my previous reply, just pointing you to his "evidence"

thought that was quite obvious
