Arcane Export Question

Does anyone know if the selected audio OUTPUT device has anything to do with how an Edit is exported using the export audio command (Rendering)?

I realize that you would think it would not, but there was some initial discussion on this board from Jules about single track rendering and how Tracktion used the sample rate from the output device when it rendered the track.

In the export command, you can choose a sample rate and bit depth (sample size) so would think it would be independant of what type of output device you have selected, but ...

Just wondering if anyone knows for sure?
