Today I made a little tribute to a famous French musician: "Alone at the beach".

I'm going to go with Vangelis. He's french, right?
Anyway, nice track. I think maybe upping the BPM ever so slightly might do wonders? I feels a bit too slow now. Other than that, this is something that could find itself on my playlist while working etc, it's a nice stress reliever. Great job!

Goes without saying it's Jean Michel Jarre - possibly after Oxygene 6. Great job. I really enjoyed listening and you managed to capture the feel of JMJ perfectly without directly copying.

Yep, that typical bossa type rhythm with a solina/logan style string pad. I would go out on a limb here and say you nailed the style
Nicely produced and would find its way into a number of playlists

Hi guys,
thanks for your feedback.
Your are right. I had Jarres Oxygene VI in my mind when I recorded that track.
In my youth I was ( and I still am) a big fan of that album.
I was fascinated how Jarre did this wave sounds in his track.
So many years later I tried it by myself.
thanks for your feedback.

Oxygene and Equinoxe were his best albums and I was really pleased when he brought out a second Oxygene album. Every sound he uses adds something special to the feel of the music.Gucky wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 9:40 am Hi guys,

Hi Erisian,
I also think that Oxygene and Equinoxe are his best albums.
Magnetic fields is also good. Zoolook was very innovativ.
But after that his albums are too much mainstream for my taste.
