solo not working in w pro 11

when i try to solo a trackit seems to mute it instead. there's an x across solo and mute. what setting do i have on? or what am i doing wrong? i'm on a mac high sierra os.

This has happened to me on a Win 10 pc. My sandbox was enabled. I just shutdown WF, and restarted, thinking I did something wrong. I've since disabled sandboxing for now, and concentrating on learning WF11.
I can't say for a fact sandboxing is the cause.

Do you have submix or folder tracks in use? Perhaps a screenshot or short video of the behaviour would help us diagnose the problem?

i only have 3 tracks in the project

Solo works for me.

opened my pc version of w 11. solo works perfect. but not on my mac.
