Melodyne has supported ARA 2 since version 4.2, which Celemony released in October of 2018.Muziksculp wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2020 12:37 amThanks for the feedback. So, this would mean that the standard Melodyne version that is built into S1 4.6 is already ARA2 spec. wise.
Studio One 4.0 was released in May of 2018. So as you can see, Studio One 4 was "ready for" ARA 2 once Melodyne implemented it.
Celemony announces ARA 2 - Plug-ins and DAWs mesh even betterMuziksculp wrote: Tue Apr 28, 2020 12:37 amSo.. What does ARA 2 offer that ARA 1 did not ? I'm no expert on the ARA side of Studio One.![]()

"With ARA 2, the exchange of information between DAWs and plug-ins is even more comprehensive, which makes additional applications possible. The new ARA 2 specification allows, among other things, the simultaneous editing of multiple tracks, the transfer of chord track information between the DAW and the plug-in, seamless clip borders that make the manual setting of crossfades superfluous, Undo interlocking with the DAW, and much else besides."
