Ok thx for the log file.
So MacOS tells MuLab there only is one screen and the screen is 1440 x 835 pixels.
But the screenshot you sent is 2872 x 1658 pixels.
So there clearly is a mismatch there.
Sounds like MacOS is not reporting the correct screen size to MuLab.
What's the real resolution of your screen?

Ok so the question is: Why does MacOS tell MuLab the screen only is 1440 x 835, and then blurry stretches out what MuLab correctly renders?

Maybe it has to do with the "NSHighResolutionCapable" property. I'll add that to the next beta version.

I have had the same fuzzy text issues on my MacBook Pro with retina screen and can confirm that adding
<key>NSHighResolutionCapable</key>
<true/>
to the plist file fixes the issue.
As a quick but temporary fix, Retinizer also works.

The comment about the plist file was meant for Jo, but if you download Retinizer from http://retinizer.mikelpr.com/ you can drag the Mulab app onto Retinizer's open window and that will give you a fix until Jo releases the next beta build of Mulab.

I have exactly the same issue except for mux v8.7.6, running inside Reaper 6.36 on Windows 10. The system scale is set to default, gui scale 100% (changing it did not solve the problem) and the log file says:
0x000004CC 15:50:43:039 Screen 1 = 0,0,1920,1034
0x000004CC 15:50:43:039 Screen 1 = 0,0,1920,1034
