Hi !

I have discovered in the "File Location of Plugins" space of Waveform 11 pro, that I will have access not only to VST and VST3, but also to SOUL Patches plugins.
But I have a big problem... My problem is that I have no idea of what are these things !... ;-)
Somebody can take some minutes to explain to me :
What are the Soul Patches plugins ? (and what are they for ?)
... and eventually, where I can find these SOUL Patches plugins ?

Does it exist YouTube videos explaining what the SOUL Patches are and what are they for in a DAW like Waveform, with example of real application ? (concerning simple songwriters of course - I'm not interested in the SDK SOUL aspects, because I'm not a synth developer nor a software of a plugins programmer).

Thanks a lot in advance for those who have informations on this subject and want to share this kind of knowlegde, in particular for a newbie like me concerning all things relative to these SOUL Patches plugins... for a "normal" musician who wants just be creative in doing music...
How the SOUL Patches plugins will help me to create my future musical expression ?

once there, click on "Try SOUL in your browser".
From there you can download the patches to a folder and point Waveform at that.

A little bit more clear now...
If I had understood the website explanations and a YouTube video from ADC coders workshop (with Jules Storer and Cesare Ferrari),
SOUL is a new coding "language" at destination of audio plugins developers.
SOUL wants to be the next reference of a very simple audio coding language, to replace the actual specifications of the different OS specificities.
And these future "universal" plugins will be able to "work" in all the DAWs ready to accept them, and yet from now, in Waveform (with is a little bit concerned by the Jules Storer adventures ! ;-)

If I understand how it works you can create a patch with no need to compile and it will simply run in Waveform. I think you can even edit and modify them on the fly changing the sonic results as you go.
