The first sound sounds like the folk pop song ‘Summertime’ by ‘The Head & The Heart’ from 2015. For the strings melody. Is that Zebra or Diva?
Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.

Depends on which strings you're talking about. I would need the time stamp of the song. For the instrumental parts, those aren't strings but a synth pad and it is Zebra 2. For the vocal parts those are various VSL patches.

Lessons
Like the lyrics overall, told an interesting story.
3rd line of lyrics "You walked out...etc.", don't really fit in the space, "de-gree" was slightly awkward also...
@3:23 liked the harmony vocals
Not one of your best to be honest, but still good.

Interesting critique. One of my favorites. Oh well, taste and all that, right?

4th track from my upcoming CD "RPM II"

Something laid back for this one.

Quiet Night

Looking out the window
Listening to the silence
The sounds I do not hear
Put me in a deep trance

Thinking bout what I want
Dreaming of the morning
The night it falls so quickly
Sometimes without warning

Quiet night (oh oh)
You soothe me
Quiet night (oh oh)
You move me

Tapping at the window
Somehow sounds like thunder
Wind it blows so gently
Like a spell that I am under

5th track from my upcoming CD "RPM II" and final entry into this month's RPM contest. EP part is done.

Not The First War

The world...It is a cold place
The scars...They run down my face
The bombs...They fall around me
The death...It does astound me

It's not the first war
It's not the last war
It's not the only war
Where good men die
It's not the first time
It's not the last time
That mother's and fathers
Hang their heads to cry

I wish...To end this sorrow
I wish...To see tomorrow
I hope...That good will win out
My lips...My prayers I will shout

Nice. Like the delay-arp at 1:37.
The chords etc. remind me of a kind of heavy metal song , especially at 2:22>.
Is it about Covid?
Wasn't World War I supposed to be the war that ends all wars, or was that WWII?
Anyway, well done. The song had enough in it to keep me engaged, and want to listen to it again.

Thanks for the listen and the feedback. WW I was supposed to be the war to end all wars.

The song itself is not about the virus but I guess it could be. It's pretty much open to interpretation.

6th track from my upcoming CD "RPM II"

Crazy Sally Rides Quick Horses

Crazy Sally rides quick horses
She rides them into the night
Crazy Sally rides quick horses
She rides them towards the light

She's lived a good life
Learned wrong from right
She has no regrets
She's paid all her debts

Repeat Chorus

She's faced all her foes
Many times came to blows
Didn't dwell on her woes
On her face it now shows

Repeat Chorus

She now recollects
And in some respects
She's made some mistakes
But she made her own breaks

Repeat Chorus

And now time has come
She will not be glum
Acceptance for some
Either way it is done

Repeat Chorus 2x

Thanks. I actually went through 3 revisions of the lyrics before I finally came up with those. The Rhodes is the Arturia Stage 73. Sounds really good. The guitar was Music Labs Real Les Paul run through Guitar Rig 5. The ooh oooh's were Realivox Ladies.

7th track from my upcoming CD "RPM II"

Needed to get away from the pop stuff for a bit. Nothing commercial to hear here. In fact, a bit odd at best.

Quiet Times On Mount Prophet

Intro

Peace...It's an elusive thing
The harder we try the more it slips through our fingers
For there are those wish for nothing more
Than to fight and kill and wage more war

Interlude

I must make my escape
Before it's too late
Before the killing starts
Before they break my heart

I must get on that plane
Don't have time to explain
Just get me to that place
Where I can see the face
Of God

Instrumental Break

Quiet times on Mount Prophet
A place where I can soothe my soul
A place where my thoughts are calmed
A place where I can be made whole

Quiet times on Mount Prophet
Say hello to my best friend
No better place to be
I may not want to go home again

Loved crazy sally! Especially the start, sounded like something i would love to have in my own music.

Really good sounds.

Edit: it has that melodic taste im into, i could almost imagine and like to make a remix of it but i dont know how. But i would do it my style, not because it needs a remix. It just sounded like somrthing that could be cool in a house/electronic track.

Meh. I wonder how u even produced the sounds, what synthesizers or whatever, but u dont have to reply to that.

Also have a very cool vocal.

Good pianos, good strings. Good everything.
Very interesting edit: (if i sound arrogant, nope, im not trying to be or sound arrogant lol)

Cool choir too.

Edit again: just noticed ur reply to another, U mentioned what sounds u were using etc. Realivox ladies i gotta look that up.
Thanks for the listens and the replies. It's really appreciated.

No, I don't think you're arrogant. In fact, I think you're a hoot. Most folks are pretty reserved but you're really out there. It's refreshing.

I'd love to tell you what synths I use for each of my songs but owning over 100 VSTs, it's almost impossible for me to remember what I've put on each track a day after it's done. I have a lousy memory. LOL.

I do use a lot of Pianoteq 6, MODO Bass, and Music Labs various virtual guitars for a lot of my pop and rock songs. Omnisphere 2 and Zebra 2 are also found on a lot of things. On the last track I did, I used GeForce M-Tron Pro, which is a Mellotron emulation. In Crazy Sally I used Arturia's Stage 73.

You're bound to find just about anything on my songs.
