12 years old PC running :Reaper;Reason;Dune;Zampler;Kontakr;Reaktor;and many others countless vst :D

I might forgo percussion and try to make a 1 instance track with this one.
For anyone else interested, I would highly recommend looking through the manual and experimenting with the behavior of the output and keyboard split switches.

Also, be careful toggling the stereo flanger button. If you disable stereo while playing a note through the flanger, it can hold on to a signal in the right channel.

Ah, thanks. I'd noticed the right channel effect, but not the cause.

Is reverse reverb allowed? Rendering a wav and reversing just for the reverb tail.

Nope. No rendering or sampling at all except to 'freeze' a complete track to save CPU. No sampling for consistency, and certainly no processing of samples at all.
Trying to recreate that effect using only the live synth and the DAW - that's allowed (subject to FX rules of course) :tu:

Post

I'm really starting to warm up to this synth now. :tu: to Mr. Full Bucket.

Post

Alright, thank you Full Bucket!

This is going to be a fun synth for me as it is easy on CPU and hasn't crashed my old WinXP machine. The Full Bucket synths have worked for me pretty well in the past but soon it won't matter the synth, I have most of the parts I need to build a new machine, Ryzen 7 and lots of ram. 8)

Greetings. I've downloaded and installed Tricent successfully, however it is not appearing in my usual plugin instrument tab within Logic. I've verified that Tricent is in the component folder, and other Full Bucket AU plugin synths are there in the list as well. I tried deleting Tricent and re-installing, but no change.

:wheee: Yess, the Trident is a great synth.
I tested it last month and created a demo track for it. You can find the patches on the Full Bucket website.
And Snares: well, they are already feasible for electro tracks .... :D

Yes, I concur, snares are absolutely feasible. PWM is useful there. Not entirely pleased with any attempts at hats so far. Concerning CPU usage: It seems to me that the ( full ) bucket brigade processing is causing spikes. I'm getting crackles way before any CPU readings get near critical. Turning off ensemble and vibrato processing on the string section seems to influence this significantly. the bowing-function uses even more CPU. ( That's all happening in REAPER 6, btw. ). Still, it sounds really good to me. Gonna do a four-on-the-floor track with it, I think. Never done one of those.

edit: the crackling mentioned above occurs when playing live with a track armed.

I can get a decent, if somewhat thin, snare out of it. Closed hihat is not an issue either. However, struggling with getting a solid kick for some reason. Any suggestions?

EDIT- Never mind, kicks are all good. I was missing a setting there. Snare and hi-hats do need some more work though lol
