...and also tied to the Knobs on Filter 2 in the Key Filter Mode Editor, so that makes it 4 elements... one button and 5 buttons in total.
The Drive knob is tied to Key Filter 1 and Key Filter 3 is tied to the Out knobs...not really a problem.
It's the Mode button tied to the same as the knobs that are the real issue.

@Aleksey Vaneev
Another issue I have is that the Color modifiers / Disabled control parameter change the Level Meters on some plugins, while for some it does not.
Chrunchessor, Tube Amp, LF Max Punch and SPAN works fine, but Boogex, VariSaturator, Voxformer reacts to the Disabled Control's Opacity parameter.
It would be for the better if the Level Meter was free from that.

they do! i have knob colors muted (opacity to 0 or all the same color) so i didn't notice. can't remember how it was beforeKr3eM wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 8:36 pmThey are all tied to Knob Center 2 color... at leats in v2.13Ploki wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 6:55 pmiirc the knob center colors are used for different MODES in crunchessor, not knobs.Kr3eM wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 5:15 pm @ Aleksey Vaneev
Crunchessor for some reason share the same Knob Center 2 color for all 3 items, Attack, Release and Mode button.
Is this a bug or a permanent feature? There are plenty of Knob Center parameters unused after all.

It's a known bug and should be fixed in a future update. I reported it myself in a release thread a few weeks agoKr3eM wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 8:58 pm @Aleksey Vaneev

And as you've noticed there are several different elements of the GUI that share colours (unfortunately), some of them quite unrelated.

Thanks, that's good to know, then I will disregard the Level Meter opacity issue and continue with my work instead of trying to make a workaround.Shifrin wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 9:12 pm It's a known bug and should be fixed in a future update. I reported it myself in a release thread a few weeks ago

I can't recall that I have encountered any more elements that share the same colours, at least as not what I would call unreleated as in the case with Crunchessor. But yes there are some interractions/blends/bleeds between elements that will occur under various circumstances.
However, I really think Aleksey have made really good improvements on the GUI framework. I'm really looking forward to see all the plugins getting this upgrade.

Well that is a damn shame. I love Tape Bus to bits.Aleksey Vaneev wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 7:04 pm In fact, CRTIV plugins weren't a success at all... probably due to redesign in part. Even though, I myself rate both CRTIV Reverb 2 and Tape Bus very high.
And what an awesome thread, thank you guys for the awesome schemes. Makes me really want to buy the Voxengo Premium!

Anyone else kind of heavily anticipating this one?

@Aleksey - can you add some of these custom made wonderful examples as color presets to all your plugins...? Or we have to manually add them or ask the creators to send us links for some background files?

Most of the colour schemes in this thread have been linked to by their creators, you add them via the plugins themselves. My schemes are all in the first post of this thread..HcDoom wrote: Sun May 03, 2020 3:01 pm @Aleksey - can you add some of these custom made wonderful examples as color presets to all your plugins...? Cant we just put all the links into the first post of this #thread ...if the creators are ok, with that of course; would make things & requests a bit easier, though. imoShifrin wrote: Sun May 03, 2020 4:22 pmMost of the colour schemes in this thread have been linked to by their creators, you add them via the plugins themselves. That may be so, but I don't see the logic behind binding the same parameter of the attack and release knobs to the Mode selection button, specially when you have parameters left that are unused. I can understand the Knob grouping but that's it.Aleksey Vaneev wrote: Sun May 03, 2020 2:42 am I'm usually using a "grouping logic" when assigning colors to knobs. This is intended.
There's nothing that stops you from having the exakt same color scheme if you change the Mode button to Knob Center 4, which by the way is unused.
It would make sense that this is the parameter which the Mode button should be using since the next parameters 5 & 6 are Style and Keyfilter buttons and the first 3 are already the knob sections.
You have 4 unused Knob Center parameters, you are only limiting peoples ability to customize Crunchessor GUI for no good reason.
It makes no sense, please consider to make optimal use of your new GUI framework, it will benefit you as well as your customers.
