Hello. I keep playing with Meda tools to see how they could fit my need...

I researched this forum for a bit in hope to find a solution to per voice velocity modulation in MPowerSynth.

So far I can adapt the velocity curve in the global parameters and use it where the plugin has decided I could use it (ie: under the hood for volume modulation and in the filter option for filter modulation)

That's not very modular for a synth that promise to be so powerfull I thought :( ...
So I looked online and found the MIDI panel and the "velocity (on)" option that allows to map virtually any control to the velocity...

Here's my issue now: Lets say I want to modulate the panning (panorama) of a noise oscillator using velocity. And use it as a polyphonic instrument with each note having a different velocity in order to create some spacial "evolution" in the sound...
How can I do that?

The velocity control in the midi panel is a global one so it set the parameter (panning in my example) to the value extrapolated from the velocity of the last not played. So instead of having the low velocity notes of a chord panned right and the high velocity ones panned left I have one massive panning left or right depending on the last note played... Not very "musical" if you ask me.

I'm sure I'm missing something here since velocity modulation seams to be such a basic for a synth...
Any input on that would be much appreciated...

Also, I was wondering the added value of MPowerSynth vs MSoundFactory? Is there any benefit of having one, the other or both?
Looks on paper that MSoundFactory does everything that MPowerSynth does and more? Especially now that there are priced the same...

Best regards to all of you.

Will this do it?

(1) in the Generator, add a "neutral" module with a Pan parameter (2) (I chose a Mixer)
(3) modulate its Pan parameter with Note Velocity,
(4) set the mode to "Up&Down"
DarkStar, ... Interesting, if true

MPowerSynth doesn't have per-voice modulation, that's why we started developing MSoundFactory, which is kinda the last instrument to be made by Melda :). That's kind of the answer - you want MSoundFactory, not MPowerSynth.
