Many things depend on the ways you view something (glass half empty / half full) Though I'd suggest, if you think what I said was somehow "wrong" (as your reply somewhat implies) it suggests a limitation, specifically in your understanding of how others might see things differently - without necessarily requiring that they be "wrong".
In this case, that licenses which have some temporary basis (which is what non-perpetual C/R is) is not "really" ownership of a license, but (effectively) a rental period, the length of which is defined by your ability to activate.
If you view it differently perhaps you can find a few threads, on this forum, where you can console those, no longer able to activate what they paid for, with your views. I'm sure they will be receptive
Why make so many assumptions? Even if you assume some people can never be satiated, that doesn't necessarily negate valid issues they may have, just because they may not be viewed as issues by you personally! Even if someone will never be happy about something, there is still some value in making them less unhappy, where possible, don't you think?Anyway, what I actually wanted to say above is that some will never be satisfied. No matter what NI or anyone else does.
