:dog: What is wrong with me today?!! I'm sorry - I think I'm going senile. :(

i'd like to see a "lock parameter" feature
like in u-he or audiority plugins, maybe a 2nd entry in ctrl-click-menu?

for example
for setting voice count to 24, locking it and having no change while changing patches

:-)

+1 and even more important for the pitch bend range. If you play an expressive controller you want this to stick to the max. Only if Odin would go MPE it could be a mode instead...

Never heard this one before. So it locks the parameter only when changing patches?
The parameter isn't locked for the user to edit is it? Like in some kind of safety mechanism?

I uploaded the current patches here.

Do not reupload them elsewhere or spread them over the internet!!

These are literally all the patches I received so far, I didn't remove any, didn't rename them, categorize them, adjust volume or anything, which I will do before release.

I am super stoked about the particiption and engagement of everybody :tu: Thanks so much, patches are great so far! :)

Make sure you use the most recent version 2.0.21.beta from the post above, or you'll get crazy browsing these

some of these are good but a lot are really disappointing. They're either very simplistic or just random settings. Hopefully you can compile a really good bank of sounds otherwise if I was trying this synth for the first time I would assume it's not very versatile or capable.

I might be wrong, but something seems strange with the delay : even bypass, i can still hear it ?

:o
Are you sure you're using this button to bypass it?

The selection and on/off buttons seem to get confused at times
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

yes
it is a virtual lock
as a user you can actively change the parameter, but it won't get changed
when presets are browsed

u-he has it
audiority, audiothing,...

imho quite handy

No, this is not it, but I don't really remember what was going on.
I had loaded a preset (dub chord, or something like that). I played with it, tweaked it a bit.
Then, I wanted to listen to the sound without the delay, so i bypassed it : the sound was different, but the delay was still audible.
As i was using Odin2 in a project, i checked if i hadn't some other delay as an AUX somewhere or an FX chain, but i didn't.
I will check again tomorrow (sorry for the very inaccurate report  )

Post

another thing i'd like to see:
in the modmatrix, there is the "x" at the very right for clearing the setting
i'd also love to see an on/off symbol-switch for enabling/disabling the specified modulation

an undo/redo would be great too :-)

Ok if it is reproducable -> send me a bugreport.
If it is not reproducable and happens again: Collect all data you can think of (make a screenshot, render a sample, save patches etc.) -> send me an email.

Or maybe it was a patch with an delay like effect?
Comb filter / Envelope controlling osc ?

I've only played around with it for a bit, not really tested it in depth (although no issues so far), but just from that I have to say that I'm really impressed. That you're able to pack that much functionality into a clean, single-page interface is amazing, especially in a way that keeps the workflow quick and intuitive - this was definitely one of the easier synths to just jump into working with, and even without any presets I was coming up with some interesting sounds from the various osc types more quickly than with some other synths that I have with similar features. Definitely keeping an eye on this one...

Version 2.0.22.beta is up

This hotfixes wave-/spec-/chipdraw oscs using the default waveform before the GUI was opened once in some hosts.
