You have about the same amount of chance of everybody agreeing that one DAW is best as you do one guitar or one camera or one car is best.
Anyway, tape is best
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

No one should have to listen to exactly the same thing over and over again, 'recording' things is so 2019 - it's just played live on YT or balconies now!

This is the update where they add modulators, MPE and a modular environment
Signatures are so early 2000s.

I think @spring was confused by you typing "now" instead of "no"SLiC wrote: Mon May 04, 2020 7:23 amYou have about the same amount of chance of everybody agreeing that one DAW is best as you do one guitar or one camera or one car is best.

Any news what's in it? I've been following the betas but there's nothing in there.

My guess would be comping and/or audio editing (a'la Melodyne or Variaudio) - they have the tech already in the DAW, it's just a matter of doing it.

That was my guess for what would be the main feature of the '10' release as we had been waiting for many years for the update and it was the most requested feature...but we got a Wavetable Synth
It would be a strange point update in my opinion, but we can hope!

Was that really what 10 was for you? Because for me - as I said multiple times - if 10 was released few months earlier, I'd have probably stayed with it instead of moving to Bitwig. 10 fixed lots of issues I had with 9.7 - finally it got proper high-DPI support, added support for touchpad gestures on Windows (both very important on Surface Pro 4!), added multi-clip editing, (better) integrated M4L adding LFO, Shaper, Env. Follower as "standard" devices, cleaned up automation (I really like the separate mode now, despite being a vocal critic in the betaSLiC wrote: Mon May 04, 2020 10:35 amThat was my guess for what would be the main feature of the '10' release as we had been waiting for many years for the update and it was the most requested feature...but we got a Wavetable Synth

Nah, it's the one where they take away AU support, add a subscription model and steal IP from BW.
j/k

Anyway, you know all this, you use Bitwig
