It looks good but I can't tell if it works only with SampeTank 4 or if it will work with SampleTank 4 "SE". Anyone have any idea if it will work with the "SE" version? I don't see anything mentioned about that on the site.

Save 75% on the Spaceport '77 expansion for SampleTank 4, on sale for $19.99 USD / 19.99 EUR.

Even I was eyeing this. I am not sure I will get it, but it will even work with free SampleTank 4 CS, so no worries. :tu:
Finally got to spend some Jam Points! Some nice OB-1 sounds in there, particularly the sweeps.

Yeah, thanks for the feedback. It does sound awesome. What's your overall view about the presets? Guess they are tweakable?

I don't need it, but certainly like the sounds. And the only thing worth it right now with JamPoints for me.

Wow! That's great. I did not own SampleTank back then, so, I guess 14 bucks is the cheapest I can get it now with JamPoints.

Bear in mind that at some point this year, maybe Good Friday, it will go on sale for less (maybe $39), but right now the Samples From Mars 'ALL THE SAMPLES FROM MARS' bundle is reduced to $69 (usually $99).
https://samplesfrommars.com/products/al ... -from-mars

I've been wanting it ever since I bought XO and thought what the hell, it's insane value anyway.

Just downloaded and unzipped it all and pointed XO at the folder...
114105 new samples found!

I needed an AB comparison plugin, and got the ADPDR Metric AB (https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... ricab.html) for $25 - please tell me I didn't overpay. The $199 PA price just seems insanely inflated. This was an impulse-buy, based on the PA deals posted:

$25 off ($39 net min. spend)

Any plugin $49.99 (ends later tonight)

If you still have that I'd love to give S1 a try. Have been on the fence with upgrading to Cubase Pro or going with S1 for a while now :?:
Did you get my PM? I did it differently and I can't tell if it went through. Thanks

telecode wrote: Tue May 05, 2020 2:51 am Does Reason suite have anything similar to Max for Live included in it?
No, AFAIK...
here's a complete "compare" list with everything that's included...
https://www.reasonstudios.com/en/reason/buy
If I am reading this correctly and comparing it correctly, the main selling point of Reason 11 is the software instruments ?

Code: Select all

Reason 11 Suite	Ableton 10 Suite	Cubase Pro 10.5
   	                    $719.00 $545.00 $255.00
sounds ?	5000	3000
sounds size (G) 24	70	?
software instruments 28	15	8
audio effects 31	55	76
midi effects 7	17	18

"Never mind the quality feel the width" - comparing based on the number of things included and the size of sounds is pretty pointless IMO. Pretty much everything that comes with Reason is great, plus you can use it as the Reason Rack plugin in other DAWs which the others can't boast. I think that standard Reason is plenty though, not sure if Suite is worth the extra even if some of the extra players are fun.

Pretty sure there's a fully functional demo.
