have you found an alternative multiband imager?
I shied away from the multi-band concept more and more, and prefer just regular "in the mix" stuff rather than smearing. The free Ozone Imager 2 works brilliantly on mono sources though and is very mono compatible.

But I will say this... check out Rising Jake Studio's 'SideMinderME' as it works dynamically which is pretty interesting. I demo'd and passed (Fastpring doubles the USD price when converting to NZD, ugh) for now but it is unique and surprisingly transparent.

Has anybody who bought Reason from JRR yesterday got their code yet? I got the suite upgrade but no code nearly 24hrs later. Unusual for them, they’re always prompt. Could be Reason Studios being slow though.

I bought the Suite Upgrade from JRR close to the start of the sale, and got the serial immediately. They've probably run out of keys and need to wait for more to be generated, so wouldn't worry at all. JRR is solid, as always.

any different to running TDR nova as opposed to Pro-MB or Pro-Q3?
It's free and high-quality, with a parallel topology that does no harm where it does no processing. I expect Pro-Q3 would be fine too.
I like iZotope's imager because it has "prevent anti-phase" and because it compensates gain loss :)
I'm not exactly sure what that is, but it sounds like some kind of crossover phase-compensation. Seems better to avoid crossovers entirely than to make a better one.

I am not in a great hurry but seriously considering. Also there will be a version 5 sooner or later and I would have to pay to upgrade to that - any idea when that upgrade to V5 is coming out? I am happy to wait until around June
Thank you for asking. It is discounted until May 31. Presonus had told us the March sale was going to be the last sale for the year. They suddenly launched this sale because of the 'rona so I guess this is intended to be the last sale of the year. It usually does not go cheaper than 30% off. Studio One 4 was released May 22 of 2018 so I'm guessing V5 is on the way. If you buy now, you'll probably need to buy another upgrade to V5 unless your purchase falls within a grace period.

Is this hoping or guessing?
I'm guessing they won't release a major version upgrade while they're in the middle of a sale.

^^^
They do it on purpose to falsify my prediction.
It has happened before many times.
They want to make sure my predictions are always wrong.
Obviously a conspiracy! :scared:

I predict that Studio One 5 will be released after the sale.

Oh definitely, I’ve no worries with JRR, always been great. Was just unusual for it to take this long. Probably just being impatient with the long weekend ahead!

I ordered from Audiodeluxe and also waiting for more than a day now. Maybe delay is with Reason studios.

Didn't TDR himself talk about nonsense of Parallel design in digital EQ's on GS a few years back?

It's not! It's a width limiter. I.e., even if you push band M/S into antiphase, the software detects that and automatically decreases m/s ratio back to "in phase".

similar as RJ studios sideminder.

Oh i quoted imrae fist, but yes, RJ's sideminder works similar to iZotope's "prevent antiphase" in the imager.

Also waiting for serial number for Reason Suite Upgrade ordered from JRRSHOP ... I'm not concerned ... must be a delay on the Props side of the fence. It has been about 30 hours since the order was placed.
