I bought the Suite Upgrade from JRR close to the start of the sale, and got the serial immediately. They've probably run out of keys and need to wait for more to be generated, so wouldn't worry at all. JRR is solid, as always.
Are you finding that the content in Suite is worth the price entry?

It's free and high-quality, with a parallel topology that does no harm where it does no processing. I expect Pro-Q3 would be fine too.
Didn't TDR himself talk about nonsense of Parallel design in digital EQ's on GS a few years back?
I didn't see that thread but I suppose that as long as the implementation is good the topology shouldn't affect the results; with minimum-phase EQ, there is a consistent relationship between frequency response and phase shift. The benefit in Nova is that oversampling artefacts are reduced; other EQs have different problems and solutions.
I'm not exactly sure what that is, but it sounds like some kind of crossover phase-compensation. Seems better to avoid crossovers entirely than to make a better one.
It's not! It's a width limiter. I.e., even if you push band M/S into antiphase, the software detects that and automatically decreases m/s ratio back to "in phase".
Ah, that's pretty neat then! You could do that with Nova in DIFF mode by engaging the dynamic compression. And you'd have full control over how aggressive the correction is.

From an update from regular Reason it’s good value, even just for Complex 1, the Layers synths, Quad Note Generator and Polystep sequencer. The rest is a nice bonus and it’s packed with stuff that I’m looking to get into for the $177 I paid.

is the promo on Reason Suite Upgrade valid until may 10, am I right?

Haven’t had time to delve into it. I come from a special place; I received a free license of Reason 10 as a birthday gift some years back by a friend working at Propellerhead. This was a way to say thanks, since I received a bonus on the salary just recently. Reason was never my primary DAW though so hard to comment, but my financial investment in it brings quite a few synths and effects, in a relative way.

I have a few waves plugins and it seems the only way to sell them at a reasonable price is through selling the account. How would I go about that?

well, it is something not "officially" allowed by most companies, but that's something quite common.
You simply give yuour username/password to the new owner, then he can change his/her details y loggin into the account (just change your passowrd before sharing it in case it's a password you use elsewhere....)

Please let me know how that goes!

Hi Uncle E, what does "price as configured" mean? I am seeing select boxes against the products included in this bundle at the above link. I tried to select only a couple and then added to the cart, but I don't see any difference. Could you please clarify?
Hi Uncle E, could you please reply to this?

The difficult part is why are the check mark boxes given against the items and labelled "price as configured" when all of them will be part of the bundle. I did not see this ever before, so wanted to clarify. Though unlikely, it gives an impression that you could choose from the list and price will change (decrease) accordingly.

telecode wrote: Mon May 04, 2020 12:07 pm Yes, I agree with you. It all add's up bit by bit. Thats why when I look at a sale on something like Cubase Pro, Ableton Live Suite, or Reason -- yeah, it's a big $ figure but you petty much get a fully fledged DAW, all the instruments and effects you will need.
The built-in plugins are quite decent. I use the EQ, compressor, gate, convolution reverb, and IR Maker all the time. Their IR Maker is one of the best I've found, even compared to dedicated plugins. I make IR's of everything now.

soundbylaura wrote: Mon May 04, 2020 7:17 pm All this talk about Studio One got me thinking again of selling my Studio One 3 Professional, but in checking out my account it seems the version I bought a few years ago in the Call to Action Charity Auction was an Educational version, something that was never indicated at the time of sale nor when I received the activation code. So turns out I can't use it for work nor can I sell it. Outstanding. Glad I never really took to it. :ud:
You might want to bring this up with Presonus support. It seems weird that you would be punished from the Call to Arms Charity, particularly if it wasn't spelled out at the beginning. IME, Presonus is easier to deal with than other companies.
