Yeah it was specifically ambient/post-rock guitar I had in mind. I own Valhalla Shimmer and it's lovely for synths, but a bit too hollow sounding for guitars IMO.simmo75 wrote: Fri May 08, 2020 3:25 amI tested that one and didn’t buy it. It’s pretty niche and sounded metallic to me. Probably good for guitarists but not for my uses.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri May 08, 2020 3:04 am The Neunaber wet reverb is one I keep looking at, basically an Immerse reverb pedal in plugin form, but I haven't bit the bullet yet as I've got loads of other verbs

It's only $49 now too

Software purchased during the charity auction was always only intended as NFR as far as I remember.Uncle E wrote: Thu May 07, 2020 6:53 pmYou might want to bring this up with Presonus support. It seems weird that you would be punished from the Call to Arms Charity, particularly if it wasn't spelled out at the beginning. IME, Presonus is easier to deal with than other companies.soundbylaura wrote: Mon May 04, 2020 7:17 pm All this talk about Studio One got me thinking again of selling my Studio One 3 Professional, but in checking out my account it seems the version I bought a few years ago in the Call to Action Charity Auction was an Educational version, something that was never indicated at the time of sale nor when I received the activation code. So turns out I can't use it for work nor can I sell it. Outstanding. Glad I never really took to it.![]()
Yep. Quick search of previous auctions has this disclaimer;
Sound Dev Charity List
Note to bidders: All software products on auction for charity are licensed as NFR (Not For Resale) meaning you cannot re-sell the software once you activate the license. I cannot speak for all companies on the list, but unless otherwise stated, it's NFR. You are also bidding on downloads only unless otherwise stated, no boxed version will be sent to your home address, no physical shipping will be made (not applying to hardware of course), you are bidding on licenses alone.
Having a read through that, once activated its NFR. So I guess if you've activated the software you're in NFR territory.

Hi, we all have no money to give away, so we always look where we can get the best offers.
And this forum has already saved me a lot of money to do what? Right: to buy more plugins.
@Uncle E: i just don't understand why the following is displayed as soon as i select a certain product:
This product is not available in your country.
Why? In other US-shops i have no problems with the same product.
But at the moment you have by far the best price and i would love to buy from you.
Because I am a very honest fellow,
I don't want to change my address from Germany to another country.
So why is that so? Are there restrictions for you personally or why can I buy the same product in other US-shops without problems?
All the best!
Oh, by the way, I'm talking about this item:

Okay, thank you for the clarification. Unfortunately, I am unable to buy anything right now. But if/when I am able to (assuming sale stays), I will do as you said to get all the products.Uncle E wrote: Thu May 07, 2020 7:17 pmPlease leave all boxes checked, that way you'll receive all the products. If you uncheck any, you will pay the same price and simply not receive those products. I had to do this to trick our site to deliver the licenses automatically. Before I figured this out, we were having to do them one at a time and customers were left waiting a long time.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed May 06, 2020 6:16 pm Hi Uncle E, what does "price as configured" mean? I am seeing select boxes against the products included in this bundle at the above link. I tried to select only a couple and then added to the cart, but I don't see any difference. Could you please clarify?

I try to be always fair - not that can brag being always succesful. But I will update the above posting: Plugin Boutique refunded me the money, after some correspondance between us. I have thanked them, and will share the information here, as well.Harry_HH wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:30 amI’ve been Plugin Boutique customer for years. I think that is short-sighted business.Ploki wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:07 amnice find.vallaton wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 10:05 am

Thanks for letting us know. As a plugin boutique customer, I was also disappointed when I read your post. Glad that everything worked for you (even if it took longer than you would like).Harry_HH wrote: Fri May 08, 2020 11:24 amI try to be always fair - not that can brag being always succesful. Anyone has a problem with VirtualCZ serial number appearing in his/her account after buying a license?!
Yesterday I bought I license from Plugin Boutique and although it appears in my account, there is no serial number!! Just a download and installation instruction, that says "copy the serial number ....etc" but there is no freaking serial number!!
I have sent their support email and wrote in their facebook but nothing yet
Man! It might be the last time I buy something there!

You should probably stop using facebook, and email, and computers, and electricity, and England also. It might be any of those. You can trust the post office though, unless you're a dog.I have sent their support email and wrote in their facebook but nothing yetMan! It might be the last time I buy something there!
