I'm not seeing in settings/preferences.
Bumping my question :)

Where is the resize option?
I’ve read there is one.
On Mac there is no resize option, I don't know about Windows.
Thanks Simon.
Beautiful presets by the way.

Thank you.

I love Simon's work and this synth. It is screaming for a resize option though!

Has anyone been able to succesfully update to Padshop 2 from a Padshop Pro Extension license using the update option in the Steinberg shop? The Padshop Pro Extension license was acquired after upgrading from the Padshop version that came with older versions of Cubase.

Edit:
After waiting 2.5 weeks for Steinberg support to respond to my query I decided to take the gamble and purchased the update. It also works for the Padshop Pro Extension license. In case someone else is wondering.

A single PS2 soundtrackish sort of patch, modulation wheel action on the fly. Description embedded in the video.

Something dark - single patch:

Something brighter, 5 patches:

I need at least 4 thumps down for these!

@Steinberg soon.
How soon? You've been pimping it for over 6 months now...

I have absolutely no control over their time schedules.

Do you have any influence on getting them to enlarge the GUI? :)

Seriously, though. It’s damn strange that the waveform view has stayed microscopic.Granite and The Mangle have large waveform displays so you can see what’s going on. However, in nearly every other respect Padshop is better.

Yeah, I would have liked the possibility to zoom in on the waveforms but as of now development for PS2 has paused as they are moving onwards...

Indeed, the only downside I can see in Padshop is probably not having a sample zoom tool. The rest of Padshop is simply pure magic, especially since V2 with the spectral resynthesis implementation. So I can live without the sample zoom nonetheless even if it's an irritation on the eyes.

Given how much I love Simon's ('Sampleconstruct') work, AND, now that I have hardware that allows a newer OS install (I have a 'frozen' Mac Pro 2009 studio machine running 10.9.5 that has 'Padshop Pro' on it which needs to be available for older sessions)...upgrading to 'Padshop 2' suddenly became a priority for newer hardware!

Shouldn't be a problem right, given the license is on a separate dongle?

According to Steinberg, if I upgrade, I will NOT be able to continue to use 'Padshop Pro' on that 10.9.5 machine, as the 'upgrade' replaces the license required for 'Padshop Pro' with one for 'Padshop 2' which is NOT backwards compatible??

Has that been anyone's experience that can be verified?

If this is true, then I am not going to buy a new, full-priced copy just to keep current compatibility for older sessions....which is a disappointment to say the least given the release of 'Polarities' :(

Seems to defeat one of the advantages of a portable/multiple use license (i.e. 'dongle') if running newer versions of OS/Plug-in removes access to the an older/original install ONLY because of the licensing?

Anyway, if anyone has a different experience or information, I would love to hear from you :)

Thanks in advance
