Where in Live is the actual load fxp button? Sorry, but this user appears to be very new at this and I don't own Live.

Is there a screen print somewhere that shows this?

Forgive me, but not being a Live user, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. I don't even know what I'm looking for and probably wouldn't know it when I saw it. And when I told the customer to use the external load fxp button, he had no idea what I was talking about. So he's no help.

You use Live. Can't you just be kind enough to tell me where the load button is so I can relay it to the customer? Is that so much to ask?

In the section he told you to look in, there are 3 screen printed pictures, which shows EXACTLY which button he need to click on to load external presets. If you click on the link, it will open in that section, then look at the 3 screen pics. The even have legends underneath them that say "loading of external presets of VST's". The user should be able to recognize the buttons.

The load button is on the bottom left of the screen in session view, next to the save icon. It looks like a folder icon.

Thanks. It's all moot. He's on an ancient version of Dune 2 that can't possibly load version 2.5 patches properly.

Well, this gets better and better. Turns out, be bought the PC from a friend and it already had Dune 2 installed. So he doesn't have the account info which means he has no idea how to login to Synapse and download the update.

You can't make this stuff up.
