I could not resist Expanse for $49. It sounds nice. I had Viking 2 since before and I must say like Blamsoft stuff. I hope the day will come when I can change size of the rack and by that getting larger GUI's. I think it will happen eventually.

It was confirmed here & elsewhere by Mattias (Reason's product manager) they're working on GPU-accelerated high-res GUI, so it's just a matter of time :)

Huh. I was looking forward to May Madness, but I'm not sure I'll pick up anything. Already have Suite and the Synapse Audio stuff (which I'd want if I didn't have - it's good!) and feel that the bases are mostly covered.

Will probably demo the Delta, though:

Might demo these while I'm there too:

PX7 should be included in the Suite imho. There's an FM gap, but €50 on sale still seems a lot for this one. Might try out the RYM2612:

That's amazing news about the GUI!

Wow, I wasn't even aware PX7 isn't in Suite! Weird. In that case you might consider this one instead, unless you really need that DX7 patch compatibility:

Yes, of course, the Primal Audio FM4. I trialled it a while back and for some reason it didn't take. I think I had ideas of sharing patches with the iPad app, but that's abandoned now.

Just had a go on the Inphonik Sega FM synth and it seems really nice. Reckon I could squeeze a few compelling sounds out of it anyway. Will probably dive in there before the month's up, or it'll be the one that got away.

Their S950 DAC emu is a good one too, and comes with an above-average refill. Possibly maybe. Probably... Well, possibly :)

sorry to ask a semi off-topic question here: Will they have similar sales on Black Friday/Cyber Monday ?

Yes. Usually they've also been having a sale mid/end August.

Picked up Autosub.
It's a one trick pony: nice , clean, 'audible' sub on any size speaker.

I have everything already...

Well, maybe not everything, but rather close to everything. Possibly 80% of all rack extensions available or so.

But ok, just a few maybes'...(mostly because they are kind of cheap, definitely not because I need them in anyway).

Im thinking about Sequences. It looks a little more versatile than Polystep.

My only problem is that there is no way to switch patterns by MIDI key while using the Rack, only in Reason itself.

Spent €25 on Inphonik's RYM2612:
https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... nthesizer/

It's a nice 4-op FM synth with some heartening attention to detail gone into it, and there's the added bonus of being able to drag over presets from their SEGA Genesis/Megadrive music player:
https://www.inphonik.com/products/rymca ... gm-player/

The video game community already compiled everything here:
https://project2612.org/list.php

So it's just a case of knowing where to look:

I haven't bought any REs in ages, unfortunately the RE innovation from 3rd party devs went stale a few years ago and the spark is gone.

Doesn't mean I won't buy anything, I still look on occasion but already bought the REs I wanted when they were hot, and nothing jumps out at me anymore at any price.

Having said that, there's a few REs I use all the time, and you can't get them elsewhere.
Have you tried Vital?

That's not true. I checked in Logic and Bitwig, and they both work. In logic, it's a midi automation called "Sequences: Pattern Select"

edit: oh, maybe I misunderstood what you meant by midi key...

btw, I picked up a few players (sequences and the euclidean one). I think layers is cool and at a good price, but I have it as it comes with suite...

The other trick it does is floating knobs & faders :P
Not buying until they fix this.
