I think that is supposed to be $25 off $149. I read it wrong as well. At any rate, the coupons do not work even for $25 off. Another post at vi-control states "$25 OFF ImpactSoundWorks Shreddage 3 on Upgrade From Free version" for the same codes.

I posted those coupons here in NO-Chat section and in VI-Control.
the strange thing is thet ImpactSoundWorks sent me those promo emails
yesterday so I shared them with community.
only thing what is left to say too bad they don't stand beside what they promote.

there where no restriction or any limitation so the promo code If It Actually DID WORK
could be used by anyone.

Waves just made a small step into the modern era. Just received a mail that any plugin covered by WUP can get a 2nd license (for the duration of WUP) so you can use it on two devices at once. Still kinda upset that they only allow it for the WUP duration but still a small step forward!

I have someone interested in buying one of my plugins via ilok and paypal ie usual way. But they only have 1 post history and apparently joined 2005 to do the first post today. Seems a bit weird but I am not expert on scams etc ...thoughts?

thanks - good idea - search reveals one old mention from 2016 as a good seller. I wonder what a scammer could even get doing a paypal ilok transfer? But could be completely genuine. Anyway I contacted them directly and they seem ok - ie I am just being paranoid. I will give them good feedback if they go ahead with the deal, that should help a bit for future deals

the risk of making peer-to-peer transactions can't be managed down to zero... unless the other party is your own mom, and even then

depending on how much money we're talking about, paranoid might be good

it is not a lot - I am more worried about how the info we exchange - email, paypal. can be "used against me" I would think paypal has reasonable security to stop that being a problem, but I am not knowledgeable in this area. The guy does seem genuine, but maybe I have now scared him off
