Hello guys,
please, is there a video track in Waveform 11 Pro? I couldn't find a word on it neither in manual or in the inter webs. I only found "Movies > Set Video File" in the Control Panel. It works, but I don't get any audio from the clip, which is quite essential for dialog background score. Have I to extract the audio from the clip and insert it sepparately into the Waveform? It's quite inconvenient.
Thank you...
Stepaan

Nobody's scoring soudtracks in Waveform?
Nevermind, i realized it's better to extract the audio track from the video and import it into Waveform. This way, I can manipulate the video sound as well. So the innitial question remains unanswered, but just in case anybody would like to make a soundtrack, my sollution may come handy

There's a few threads on this in the Traction forum, and a dev linked a plugin. Not sure if it'll accomplish what you want, but I've read a few threads on Traction/video.
Does your method work well? I haven't tried any vid with Waveform yet, but did with T7. Just seemed like a pain in the neck. I've been using the free version of Hitfilm for video editing/scoring. Not ideal, but I'm not paying a thousand bucks or more for the proper software.

The same as me. I use in 99 % free plugins and software only. Waveform 11 PRO is one of a few paid music applications I have. And on your question: yes it works perfect! I have extracted an audio track from the video and inserted into the Waveform. As I wrote earlier, the advantage of this approach is, you can control the video sound track. (Volume, EQ, FXs).

This solution helped me too. Not an optimal way of handling video in Tracktion Waveform, but I like using my favourite daw when doing soundtracks to specific parts of videos.
