Hi!
Is it possible to route MIDI clips from several tracks into one? I have achieved this using an empty rack with just the red MIDI wire plugged directly from IN to OUT. It worked fine until I created another simmilar rack on a bunch of different tracks. Then all affected tracks are routed even though I made copies of several different racks. Inputs from all INs are routed to all OUTs of these racks. Is there another way how to send MIDI from a number of tracks to a number of different tracks?
Thank you.

Yes just set the tracks destination to the track with the target VSTi on.

Track can only have one destination though.

Thanx. But this doesn't solve one particular situation. For example: I have one bass synth playing MIDI clips. I want to add another instrument playing the same bass line. It would be nice to have just one track containing the MIDI clips and let all bass synths to follow the track. When I route the first track to the second, I quickly run into some other issues. So still, the safest method is to make linked clips on all the tracks?

Use a rack then with both synths in it routing midi to both?

There are two additional options:
1) select the track input of the other instrument and uncheck "follow track selection", then enable midi track input ->bass
2) you create a linked duplicate of your bassline midi clip and drag it onto the other instrument track.

There is no dedicated midi routing similar to aux send & return, unfortunately.
Be aware of that racks don't support automation, just modulation.
So a workaround is to automate the modulation elements.

Cheers
