Though things were matched exceptionally well and the whole goal was to make it as difficult as possible. That's a very different goal from finding behaviours on the synth, which you think are difficult to copy, then comparing that. Even then, frequently such differences aren't necessarily "better" or "worse", just something you can agree is "different".
Plus, even if they spot something, if they've no OB8 to check with or if their skills at patch matching in Diva aren't good enough, they've got no point of reference.. so they're just stating preference. In that sense the test proved Diva is a better tool than an OB8, as far as their preferences for loads of sounds goes. But it doesn't necessarily inform you about any differences..
