WE KNOW! EVERYBODY KNOWS!
Except you, which made a comparison with a different Oberheim.
The guy who conducted the test is a bit of a lamer imo. Wagtunes was sucked in by bs good and proper.
Silly comparison from yet another influencer who didn't even try to hide his bias.
Having used the Arturia for a good few hours now I can say with honesty its a cracking Synth which is good news for those waiting for the Synapse version because I am sure that will also be a cracking Synth too.

Yeah I am happy, it cost me $49.00 and has a good few tricks up its sleeve for that price.vurt wrote: Sat May 23, 2020 1:13 pm

A famous German soccer player once said:

"I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."
I hope I don't wander too much into vurt's thread derailing comedy territory here.![]()

Those were comments/replies of Synapse Audio at their Facebook page:
We are working very hard on it, final Release Candidate is being tested now. Hard to give an exact date, but no more than a few weeks we believe.
RE is also coming, probably a little later though
The current Release candidate might not be the actual "final" version yet but we seem to get closer to that. The current version includes a few additions and refinements compared to the version used in the teaser video.Competition is great, for users anyway - you'll see and hear!

I am not really thrilled by most of those sounds, frankly.chk071 wrote: Sat May 23, 2020 11:17 am Can any beta tester ( if he's allowed) try to replicate the sound which can be hear here at 7:50? Would be interesting for me. Preferrably without additional fx and eq'ing, of course.
Edit: Oh, and maybe the one at 8:17 as well.![]()
It actually sounds a bit harsh to me at times.

I wonder why they don't just move the modulation row down, the layout would look more familiar this way:

More familiar with what? In the real OB-Xa the order of modules/sections is:e-crooner wrote: Sun May 24, 2020 4:21 pm I wonder why they don't just move the modulation row down, the layout would look more familiar this way:
control/common/unison -> modulation -> oscillators -> filter -> envelopes
OBsession replicates this order from the upper left to the lower right of the GUI.
FWIW while having done tons of patches with the plugin for me it worked nicely as it is in the current way.
The controls of the second LFO are an exact duplicate of the first one. You have to use the corresponding 1 and 2 buttons at the left to switch between both LFOs.

Thought they were only that defensive in the Arturia thread.

Excuse me. I was not defensive, at all. My post was only meant for information, if anybody cares.
