Tracktion 7 reverted back to 32bit trial

So I've owned Tracktion products since 2006 and have seen many things and here's the latest: I chose a wav file to open in T-7 and got a user agreement screen and then T7 loaded in 32 bit trial mode,erasing my installed T7 64 bit program with my edit's.What is the deal? BTW,T6 did the same thing.TIA.

Just curious - do you happen to have T7 32-bit as the default player for .wav files, and perhaps double-clicked on it (causing the 32-bit version to load) ?

Absolutely not.

I have 32-bit AND 64-bit versions of Tracktion 6, Tracktion 7, and Waveform 8 on this laptop, along with (all 64-bit, the only versions) Waveform 9, Waveform 10, and Waveform 11.

You need to locate the 64-bit installations of Tracktion 6 and Tracktion 7 on your computer and start them running using the relevant file (if you're on Windows, the files will be called Tracktion64.exe; double-click it. If you're on Mac, something else).

I've no idea why your start-up options are kicking off the 32-bit versions. You can investigate them and see whether they're making Tracktion.exe or Tracktion64.exe, assuming you're on Windows.
