I cannot find anything in the manual on how to setup and load custom presets. I tried to place them in several different folders but nothing is visible. There is also no LOAD PRESET option. What am I missing ?
Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

You followed page 4, and 9 through 17 of the instruction manual relating to presets?

Yes I did. There is only one sentence about USER presets. Obviosly I placed my presets in the USer folder but they do not show up.

Just put the presets in the preset folder. If you're not seeing them then:
1. Make sure you completely remove all instances of Hive and relaunch it from scratch
2. More likely, make sure you have "Scan on Startup" set to "On" in Hive's preferences - if it's Off, Hive won't automatically look for any presets you added
