I passed up the previous sale in the hope that there may soon be another better sale for Sound Forge Pro 13 or 14 which includes SL 6 and 7. I suppose SL 6 and/or 7 will eventually be sold separately from Sound Forge.

Steinberg SpectraLayers Pro 6 is one of the most advanced spectral editors worldwide. SpectraLayers Pro transforms sound into a unique visual world of multidimensional audio data. Its concept, based on frequency selection, enables sounds to be extracted, optimized or rearranged in a new, revolutionary way. Thanks to ARA2, SpectraLayers Pro is now more seamlessly integrated into Samplitude Pro X5. Magix has been bundling SF and SL with Samplitude PRO Suites, however sales usually include legacy SF versions, which have also appeared at HumbleBundle. SL was only included in some of the bundle sales, careful with that.

Looks like I need to keep an eye on Humble Bundles for a SoundForge and Spectralayers sale! Apparently I missed some good sales. My interest is in SL 6 but more so in Version 7. I was thinking that SL 7 will likely be released in 2021 but as you stated SL 7 it already has been announced. What is the ETA for SL7?

I would love to get my hands on a SL 6 or SL 6/7 or if included wit Soundforge. If SAmplitude Pro X5 goes on sale for $199 I will likely get it.

SL7 hasn't been announced yet. We assume it will be released in July 2020 as SL 6 was released last July. Its possible.

I hope they have a great intro price for SL7.
Steinberg has an annual Summer sale so there is a chance of a sale on SL7.

Do you know Robin Lobel?
Well the Thanks to him for Spectralayers!

Doubt it. Anything is possible. I guess all depends how much they want to penetrate the market of iZotope and others.

Is there anyone on here who did buy Magix software from the Humble bundle deal? I think might be good to confirm what it comes with and where the codes come from.

According to this source [1], it doesn't come with the extras that you get when you buy directly from Magix [2] .

I did and SF was a single serial number so no extras.
It all comes from Magix via Humble and the serials were for each individual products.
There’s no redemption code that you redeem at Magix but serial numbers that you register within each program.

"This crossgrade only works for users of MASSIVE.
You won't be able to install and activate this version unless you own one of the required products listed above!"

So the "crossgrade" is really just an update from previous versions of Massive? Or is the list of other crossgrade options missing?

[Edit: after logging in, it tells me I don't have any of the required products for the crossgrade, though it doesn't mention any besides Massive.]

I think they're calling it a cross grade because it's a separate plug-in all together. Massive and Massive X are separate products. Massive X is not an update. Massive (non X) is still an active, available product.

Bu yea, it makes it more confusing when they list it in my transferable products and serials list as "Massive X Crossgrade". License type: "Update".

It looks like the only way to get the cross grade discount is to own Massive or (in my case) Massive for Maschine, which was a free add-on for me as an old Maschine 1.0 user.

Does anyone know if purchasers of the iZotope $49 Music Makers Bundle are eligible for this crossgrade:
https://www.jrrshop.com/izotope-tonal-b ... crossgrade

I've reached out to iZotope to inquire, as there is nothing listed in my "loyalty offers" page, when logged in at iZotope.com , but I'm impatient and my Ozone Advanced demo has already expired.

Well this is slightly frustrating.... Does anyone know what the tech support e-mail is for plugin alliance? It says to e-mail them because their service is down but they don't list anything on the website.

EDIT: https://www.gearslutz.com/board/music-c ... pport.html
I guess I'm not the only one that ran into this problem and the guy who supposedly responds on that forum ignored the post... "tech support is down so please contact our non existent e-mail and if you happen to find one on google that looks legit we'll auto reply saying we can't respond here and that you should use our broken tech support form" is what that pop-up message should say. Oh well.

For owners of a Komplete M32 the upgrade to Komplete select is $49. Worth it? It's basically the old Massive, The Gentleman, Scarbee Rickenbacker, Drumlab and some extra's!

Yes, you are eligible.

But your loyalty offers page should mention it, maybe a glitch.

I would recommend getting Komplete 12 (standard) at the least if you can. Just because it is $49, don't fall for it. This is the best time to upgrade/update to Komplete 12, so give it a good thought and then decide.

My thinking was that from the FREEDOM2020 $100 SF13/SL6 to an SL7 update might be less than the cost of a SL7. But then SL7 may come with an intro price. Oh well. Whatever will be will be!

Tried to use the 20HOLIDAY20 but was not valid.
