1a: More types of controls to the parameter mapping feature. Two state buttons (with radio button grouping option), multiple selection switches. Faders.
1b: Multiple parameter mapping to single control.
2: OS window UI-less option with always on top option and/or way to dock patchwork to the taskbar.
3: Being able to hide/disable columns seperately.
4: An additional more free way to connect plugins... like tracktion racks (but with some kind of grid to snap modules to)

Thank you for the requests. We do not plan to make PatchWork a modular environment (it would break its simple chains layout), and I am not sure (3) totally makes sense for all types of columns, but we definitely want to work on (1) in the future.
BTW, a UI-less option is not possible for technical reasons.

Im keeping fingers crossed for a taskbar snapin-able version then. Wishing for a good way to use patchwork app as an monitor controller. Snap in taskbar and better parameter controls would be golden then.
Maybe that task requires a seperate app.

This feature request is for the application, not the plug-in then?mange586 wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2020 3:44 pm Im keeping fingers crossed for a taskbar snapin-able version then. I would add to that a request to remove plugin by dragging on empty skin area (or outside plugin).
A great tool PatchWork is!

I'd rather add a trash icon somewhere, but why not. Did you know that you can already drag and drop the plug-ins onto the system trash icon, even on windows?ilyaorlov wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2020 9:59 am I would add to that a request to remove plugin by dragging on empty skin area (or outside plugin).

Auto visible trashcan icon when dragging plugin.. sure, why not. I do find the remove plugin command somewhat long down in the menu. Didn't know about the system trashcan feature, will try. When on subject.. I want a replace plugin command.
Yes the taskbar thing was for the app.

What would a "replace plug-in command" exactly do?mange586 wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2020 12:13 pm Auto visible trashcan icon when dragging plugin.. sure, why not. BTW I am not sure I understand the taskbar thing exactly. Can you maybe elaborate or give an example?

Forget the replace thing. Wrong app.
They are rare but there was a time when apps could show a subset of its controls right on the taskbar (think windows, don't know about mac). My suggestion was to have only the linked parameters in a patchwork placeholder minimized to the taskbar. An alternative workaround was to have patchwork window without the windows gui and always on top.. then I could position it myself on top of the taskbar. My goal was to use it as monitor controller as I cant find a smart enough monitor controller I would pay for. Some come close but cost a fortune and still don't deliver 100% Or is there already a software for this purpose I don't know about? I was thinking software might stand a chance of providing useful features without breaking the bank.
