adding to the Musicians Friend/Guitar Center list of sales, They have the boxed version of UVI Vintage Vault I (first version) for $99. I bought this same deal a number of years ago, an absolute steal if you don't own many UVI products.

telecode wrote: Thu Jun 04, 2020 1:13 pmis the email from Steinberg/Yamaha or Magix?
When you buy direct from Magix you get a single email from them with all the serial numbers.
The iZotope stuff you register with iZotope.
Melodyne you register with Celemony.
SL6 you register with Steinberg.
The Magix stuff you register with Magix.

SL6 was released after Steinberg purchased it so Magix have never handled registration AFAIK.

Magix give you a Steinberg Serial No. so the only question is whether it's eligible for the Grace Period where Magix don't promise a free upgrade to SL7.
The only people who can definitely confirm that is Steinberg, so why not open a formal support request with them?
I doubt people on the Steinberg forums can confirm that unless they've asked the same question.
Go straight to the source if the info is that important to you.

Not sure if this is a good deal but for those interested Superior Drummer 2 for $99 (also shipped I guess)

(Be aware you can't upgrade to 3)

Nice one... Just purchased. This is still cheaper than the price to upgrade on musiciansfriend for Strobe 2.
Wow, it’s 79.00 for the upgrade to full on the roli site. I just ordered, had some musicians friend points so it wound up being $5. I guess they ship a box with a download code in it, but worth the wait for that price.

:dog: I forgot about using my points. I have until 7/11 to use my points. I have to order various cables and adapters, but they always seem to not have the specific ones I need. This would have been a perfect time to use them.

Some of this content ended up in UVI's Synth Anthology, I believe, although I don't know that for sure.

Important note: Physical product, has to be shipped. Free shipping in the US, no idea about elsewhere.

https://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-aud ... nth-legacy
When I click on it I get a Korg Triton page. When I search for UVI, I get the same page. Maybe it's because I'm in the UK?
GuitarCenter and this site seem to be buggy from the EU for some reason.
I found the same deal at Guitar Center
https://www.guitarcenter.com/UVI/Synth-Legacy.gc
But, it isn't clear if this is downloadable or a shipped boxed product. Also some of the reviews say the serial numbers don't work.
this is a shipped product and they won't ship outside of the U.S.

I've bought it before. The code inside was for a different product. But UVI fixed it.

Worth getting? I'm not a big synth person. But the price is in my No-Brainer range

For me, it fits a list of what I want... SH series synth-like (as it was inspired by/not modeled by) and supports MPE effortlessly. So definitely for me its worth getting and I'm happy about the No-Brainer range.

From the Strobe 2 manual (and yes its marketing speak):
While being inspired by relatively simple monosynths such as the Roland SH series (especially the SH- 09 and SH-101), Oberheim OB-1 and SCI Pro-One, Strobe2 is not an exact model of any particular synth and features hugely improved possibilities over its vintage inspirations: it has been designed to take the performance synthesizer into a new dimension.

200 5D presets for Roli (slide / lift as well as standard MPE) vs 50 5D presets in Strobe Player.

A lot of the sounds aren't my cup of my meat, but there are some I love:

Anyone have a free copy of Ableton Live 10 Lite along with the serial number, they are willing to give away or sell cheap? I will eventually get a copy when my new Arturia Keylab MK2 keyboard arrives, but it is out of stock and looks like it will be out of stock for a while.

I would like to learn how to use Live now, to see if it works for me.
Thanks all.

You can still get a 90-day trial of Live Suite. That'd cover you until you get Lite. It'd also give you a feel for what's missing in the Lite edition.

I just discovered I have 3 Live 10 lite licenses sitting in my account. If you want one, I can give it to you for free, we just need to arrange for a License transfer (can't remember how it works but there's a "transfer license" button).
If in exchange you'd want to make any donation to any charity you like, that would be super-cool.

Does anyone have any thoughts on these? I've heard them in a few compositions now. No keyswitch articulations so you'll have to do it the old way, that's the major downside I'm seeing right now. It seems that there's legitimately only 4 or 5 "arabic" or "oriental" strings libraries out there that have this sound.

They also have a free 970mb multisample string library on their site, worth getting just that for sure.
