Trying to decide if I pull the trigger on one of the offers and I saw that Thomann is selling those a little bit cheaper and they come with a USB drive. Any idea about the specs of this USB drive?
If it's komplete garbage I'll just order directly from NI
Thanks!

The boxed editions directly from NI have the USB drive too. The drive is only intended to be used for installing the products, not continuing use.

Register the stuff download it since they all essentially need updates.
Reformat the drive
It's just a drive they tossed an auto load software onto with most the stuff you end up redownloading anyways.

I never used the drive to install, just to get the serial and register it with native access. After that I just downloaded and installed. I formatted the drive and used it for other purposes.

^ Yeah, the drive just ends up being expandable storage more than anything.
Take care
