Hi all, Waveform 11.0.37 should now be available for download in your tracktion.com downloads area under the "BETA" button.

Code: Select all

11.0.37:
- Sandboxing: [Experimental] Fixed an issue with "automation learn" when using the new parameters setting
- Sandboxing: [Experimental] Fixed a problem restarting plugins after a crash when using the new parameters setting

Quick note unrelated to the beta: I can't set multiple tags on a track. The manual says separating by commas should add multiple tags to a track, but I only get one tag. So putting "Drums, Midi, Kick" (or other variations with spaces or not) in the properties panel gets me a single tag in the tracks window called "Drums, Midi, Kick" instead of 3 separate tags. Am I doing this wrong?
Linux version?

Am I annoying?
No changing with the midi clock signal problem coming form novation launchkey :-( .
Am I the only one using launchkey with waveform?
Please keep this problem in mind.

Thanks for reporting, that does seem like a bug. I'll get it fixed for the next update.

We discussed this internally and I think it's just not a feature we have to respond to incoming MIDI clock at the moment I'm afraid.
We can send MIDI clock to MIDI outputs but not sync to it.

You're the first person to have requested this as far as I can remember..

No, not respond but maybe ignore like reaper or Ableton live do as they don't show these midi-events in a track.

I feared I have to learn that I am the only launchkey user.
But now I will calm down and look for a workaround.

Maybe I didn’t explain myself very clearly or perhaps I’m not understanding the problem fully...

What I meant was that we don’t support reviving MIDI clock. I.e. if a MIDI clock signal comes in on a MIDI input, we just ignore it.

I thought you were asking for tempo adjustments to respond to incoming MIDI clock but perhaps I’ve got that wrong and you’re requesting some different behaviour?

Yes  , my request is to get my launchkey working properly in combination with Arpeggiator and NoteRepeater.
If I use my old LPK25 keyboard, the audible result is as expected (but I don't want to use the LPK25 any more), but when using the new launchkey the result is rubbish.
I can make another screen capture video. If you are interested, where can I sent it?

You can send it to support@tracktion.com if you make a video.
But without an actual Launchkey device we may need some help in figuring out what's going wrong. I don't think MIDI clock messages should interfere with the Arp and Note repeater but I could be wrong.

Is there a way to simply turn off MIDI clock from the Launchkey and see if that helps?

No, I am sorry. I already have asked Novation.
Video is ready and will be on the way shortly.

Can you also make an edit with the recorded midi clock on the track that's causing the issue and send it to me at roland@tracktion.com
