Sure, as long as I can give an honest review. Also, comments are needed on one of my songs for me to reciprocate.
I'm listening to your V-Pop right now. however I still do not have an opinion about it. :ud:
I'm not an illiterate about oriental pop music. But I know only japanese stuff, and mostly OLD stuff. :hihi:

Yoshiko Sai and Tatsuro Yamashita are my favorites. Also, I love a band called RedBallon (from around 2011-2013, I think).

I was really surprised that I enjoyed listening to J-pop and K-pop stuff. It's very well done.

10th track from my upcoming CD "Hammers And Nails"

Only 2 songs left to do

Murder At Midnight

I'm in the mood for a corpse
No one in particular in mind
Just as long as it's dead
Please don't think me unkind

But blood lust is in my heart
I need to taste it now
I can't wait anymore
I've got to do it somehow

Murder at midnight
It's the best time for a killing
Murder at midnight
I always find it so thrilling

I'm not really evil
I just like killing things
I love the taste of blood
And the thrill that it brings

So just a fair warning
If you're planning a trip
Stay away from my home
Or your throat I will grip

Repeat Chorus

Instrumental Break

Repeat Chorus

Murder at midnight
Murder at midnight
Murder at midnight

To Fade

Just for the heck of it, I took some NiN songs at random and calculated the BPM of each one.

Terrible Lie - 88 BPM
Down In It - 104 NPM
Sanctified 107 BPM
Something I can Never Have - 107 BPM (double time)
Kinda I Want To - 104 BPM
That's What I Get - 111 BPM
The Only Time - 95 BPM
The Greater Good – 83 BPM

Okay, that's enough. Now, here are my 7 songs so far.

Hammers And Nails - 84 BPM
Rip Out My Heart - 96 BPM
Is This Sexy Enough For You - 104 BPM
I Got Nuthin For You - 117 BPM
Castrated - 93 BPM
Your Body - 85 BPM
Tool - 105 BPM
Stones In The Graveyard – 111 BPM

So as you can see, I'm right in the ball park. NiN's songs groove more so it gives the impression that they're faster but they're really not.
but things can sound faster or slower than what it actually is, can it not? Sorry.

How fast something sounds is affected by many variables, yes. For example, adding a 16th note hi hat to a drum beat can make it sound faster. How a song grooves can make it sound faster.

The main point still stands, BPM is still BPM. So technically my songs aren't any slower, in general, than a Nine Inch Nails song.

I missed the last line of your post. It appears you'd already addressed the discrepancy.

11th track from my upcoming CD "Hammers And Nails"

Inspired from a line from "Last Man Standing", Trent Reznor after he's had his happy pills.

Only one more to go

Ticks Are The Perfect Killing Machine

Ticks Are The Perfect Killing Machine
Ticks Are The Perfect Killing Machine
Ticks Are The Perfect Killing Machine
Ticks Are The Perfect Killing Machine

Ticks have been around 90 million years
They've been responsible for billions of tears
Ticks like to migrate wherever they can
In your arm or hair regardless straight or tran

Repeat Chorus

Ticks they like to feed off of our blood
You can find them crawling around in the mud
Ticks they like it hot so you can't burn them out
They will make you miserable of that there is no doubt

Repeat Chorus

Instrumental Break

Ticks are indestructible whatever we do
They're coming quick for me, they're coming quick for you
They don't care if we are a boy or a girl
Someday ticks will beat us and take over the world

Repeat Chorus

12th and final track from my upcoming CD "Hammers And Nails"

This is probably my personal favorite. I just threw all caution to the wind on this one and came up with this.

Memo To Trent

Miss Tessmacher
Take a memo

Trent, you are one strange dude
Sorry, don't mean to be rude
But you do some really strange shit
And somehow, you come up with a hit

I honestly don't know how you do it
You really are some kind of perverse genius
I hope to someday be as crazy as you
I mean after all, it's the least I can do

Anyway, that's all I have to say
I hope you have yourself a very nice day
If you get the chance, please listen to my songs
I promise you it won't take too long

If you should like what you hear
Just give me a call cause I'm very near
And then we can get together and go to a bar
And you can turn me into a crazy pop star

Miss Tessmacher
End memo

Memo...
Really good. Some good rhythmic elements, dissonant chords and melody. Cool symphonic ending.
Very creative. :tu:
