the patch page was the easiest thing to do but it's my favorite too, especially the fact that you can put little meta knight and Kirby face in front of your very favorite presets (which is PRACTICAL because they pop out more than with the normal skin in which all the dots look more or less the same)

Theme looks pretty cool, but maybe next time it will be the right Kirby.

The more colorful take on the Hive GUI is nice, but that graphics of Kirby take away from what otherwise might be a very cool skin. Certainly a more fun color scheme. The Kirby graphics also make it hard to read some sections of the GUI.

Also, I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that character is a trademark of Nintendo and/or HAL. So while I doubt they're paying attention to what happens in the world of Hive skins, it's possible they may not want their Intellectual Property being used without their permission even if it's just donationware. Under US trademark law "a failure to enforce a trademark by monitoring the mark for misuses will result in a weakening of the mark and loss of distinctiveness, which can lead to a loss of the trademark," which explains in part why companies like Roland or API or Fender or Disney can be very aggressive with enforcement of their trademarks.

In short: I bet it'd still be great without the Kirby graphics. Better even.

you've got a point, plus Kirby is a popular character but not everybody wants a "kawaii" character decorating it's workspace I can understand that
Since a "no Kirby" version would be very fast to realize I will upload one soon
