Hey,

I produce music in FL Studio 12 and I use the plugin Sylenth1 for that. Since a few weeks ago I can't open sylenth1 anymore. Not in only 1 project but in all my projects. So if I play a project where I used Sylenth1 in it it plays everything but Sylenth1. All my other plugins just work perfectly. It first showed the message: 'Sylenth1 VST//native'. But now it shows: 'loading plugin state'. At first I thought it was loading but it turned out that it was just showing that screen without loading. I already tried a lot of things to fix this problem.
- Deleting ALL the sylenth1 files and downloading them again.
- Changing the settings in the 'Manage Plugins' menu.
- Searching for ways to fix it on the internet and trying literally all the things that popped up.
- Asking other producer friends of mine for help.
But that all didn't help....

Can anybody help me?

YES I HAVE A LEGIT VERSION OF SYLENTH1.

Your fls is out of date so how about Sylenth?

Have you tried it in a fresh new project. If works there maybe check the plugins bit bypassed in FL and also try a full rescan ignoring errors in the plugin manager.. All I have for now

Thank you for the reaction. But if my fls would be outdated all my other plugins also wouldn’t work.

Not necessarily. Perhaps there was an update to Sylenth 1 that caused compatibility issues.

FL Studio updates are free and you can install version 20.7 alongside version 12.

Download the latest version of FL and see if Sylenth 1 loads in it......

EDIT: When I load Sylenth 1 into FL Studio 20.7 it does not say "Sylenth 1 VST//Native" it just says Sylenth 1. How old is your version of Sylenth ?

Hi,

Problems like these can be caused by mixing up 32 and 64bit versions.

Uninstall Sylenth1 (you may need to delete the Sylenth1 data folder manually first, which you can find in Documents\LennarDigital\Sylenth1 most likely), then search all your VST folders for any leftover files or folders named Sylenth1 and delete everything.

Startup FL Studio to make sure it's really gone. Then close it again, download Sylenth1 from the links in your license email to make sure you have the latest available version and install it.

Install ONLY the 64 bit version if you’re using the 64bit version of FL Studio.
Install ONLY the 32 bit version if you’re using the 32bit version of FL Studio.
Do not install BOTH the 32 and 64bit versions at the same time.

Then follow these steps to rescan the plugins properly in FL Studio 12:

1. Open 'Options > File Settings'.

2. Select 'Plugin Manager' and select the following options:

'Rescan previously verified plugins'
'Rescan plugins with errors'
'Verify plugins'

3. Start scan.

Thank you! :)
