Also I been attempting to use Izotopes Dialogue Match as a mic modeler after getting Accapella vocals of some of my favorite artists I model my sound after.

And then repeat.
*I don’t use a modeler, but I understand why someone would want to. VMS is on sale for $500, so if it works as well as the marketing suggests, you could stand to save quite a bit of money. That’s a big “IF”

Oak Felder uses a VMS, but he’s an all-Slate guy so it might be ‘product placement’elxsound wrote: Sat May 30, 2020 5:57 pmAnd then repeat.

That didn't come across as product placement to me simply because he wasn't using Slate exclusively when he could have.Michael L wrote: Sat May 30, 2020 7:36 pmOak Felder uses a VMS, but he’s an all-Slate guy so it might be ‘product placement’elxsound wrote: Sat May 30, 2020 5:57 pmAnd then repeat.

It just reminds me how any one of us talks when asked what we like to use, or a what's best thread. If I were to be interviewed I wouldn't be shy about what I like, or what I like to use even if I know others are not going to agree.

We've actually recently looked at it alongside the iRig microphone, which turned out to work quite decently.SoundPorn wrote: Sat May 30, 2020 3:52 pm What about this?
