wondering which instruments can you recommend to take for lifetime licenses?
i got so far D50 and SRX Keyboard
im thinking about the XV5080 but what else?

i thought the jd990 would be out already :/

Yeah still waiting on 990

Maybe JP8 or Juno?

Edit : You can change your selection of plugins for lifetime licenses anytime from rolandcloud.com but somehow the ones I got through support do not show on my account page. I can only see and change the first two ones I got. All four show on Roland Cloud Manager as lifetime though.

Yup, that's how I read it. A lot of a hassle for a few presets that you can use as a 9 day demo. It's not gonna knock coronavirus off the news pages, is it?

My understanding is that EVERYONE WITH A ROLAND CLOUD ACCOUNT may use it for free during 9 days.

After those 9 days, only those whose subscriptions include the SH-2 will be able to use it. Which makes sense. Unless Roland would be giving the SH-2 for free from now on.

The last sentence clarifies it.

*After June 23rd your SH-2 entitlements will only be available with a Roland Cloud Ultimate membership or a Lifetime Key purchase

I'm happy to be able to test drive it, since I already have a free account anyway.

I'll bite when they recreate the SH-1000 – my first synth!

I even modded it by attaching a length of thick piano wire to the pitch knob – hey! presto: DIY pitch bend.

their cloud definitely improved and all the licenses seem to be finally seperately available, still they need to do much more improvements!

1. it is still crap they release each expansion as a seperate vst
2. it seems? that they are not complete or are they? does each expansion come fully featured like the real hardware?
3. their cloud often has connection problems
4. you cannot grab your lifetime licenses logged in....
5. Zenology hopefully gets fully featured, but then if it might replace xv5080 etc. why owning the seperate vsts then?

Roland added 5 sound packs for Zenology today. So far, I'm getting an error when trying to install them.

Something odd is happening. I just got mailed by xsolla to say my $3 a month core subscription has been cancelled. I hadn’t requested that happen.
No harm no foul, I’m happy to stay out of it for now until the Pro version of Zenology arrives and I’ll reevaluate things then.
