Called it experiment not knowing if it will grow into something.
I thought he wanted to retire :)
Wow... Real spectrum morph is still a kind of black magic. He is definitely a restless guy :hihi:

I guess mostly he wanted to stop answering all the support questions. His plugins are unique, innovative and include some amazing DSP... but could use some better infrastructure around the sound tech. There are a fair number of odd little issues and bugs that can be hard to pin down.

I sure hope the new developers do some real usability work on them.

Error message: “This plugin is corrupted and not usable"
Are you on Catalina Simon? It is still working for me in Logic but I am on Mohave (so is WaveGenerator).
No, I'm also on Mojave, I updated to Logic 10.5.1 on my music laptop today and got the error message, on my main studio computer I still have 10.5.0 installed and it's working fine.
That's odd then, I'm definately on 10.5.1 but both are loading and not giving me errors.

Cool stuff. Sad if Folfgang will not release it.

Its very strange thing, but today at attempt of run any of Wolgang's plugs i got the same message. Win10 64bit latest update \ Studio One 4. That first time for me. Ty for sharing, googled it by this alert.

Especially that fact that i recently had run it all without probs, in the same daw (non-updated*). Some mysteria.
So i hope reinstall helps.

*but windows i had been updated recently, maybe this.

if anyone of these ppg releases make it to PA it would probs be phonem. it fits a need. i personally loved wavegenerator tho.

I am fan of Wavegen (wavegem lol), one of my loved plugs at all, despite a bit strange workflow\ui. I don't know what Wolfgang past into him, but can enjoying by his sound.

What regards PA, emm..ofcourse it's subjectively perhaps, but i can hardly imagine such workflow among their products. Mainly i mean saving patches\banks by Wolfgan's system, or various wavetable editing\converting nuances. Perhaps the PA simply did not immediately understand what they were buying lol (i'm afraid).

I have been eagerly waiting for PA to include these in their portfolio.

Same...

Well, of course would be very desirable and interesting, nonetheless.

I'm imagining PA improving the synths in terms of workflow. The DSP is exceptional.

Yes but that exactly what i'm afraid too lol. I'm count it very suitable such unusual workflow (note, I had not scolded him), that create some inexplicable combination, giving rise to this unusual sensation together with sound.
(And resp such an authentic handmade does not fit to family of plugins with AAA interfaces.)

And it is logical to assume that the changes can be so serious that they can affect, if not to some little things in the sound engine itself, then at least to other technical nuances that go deeper than the UI. For example - did you knew that sequenser parameters (not only speed, but even playback direction) is automatable ? (In WM and WG) That kind of things what i mean, and what afraid for loss. At reworking, new authors may well find it unimportant.
