Just got the bundle for $59 on the Accusonus website. All I had of theirs previously was Regroover essential and an ERA4 plugin I got free with Plugin Boutique. Bargain!
FYI: I have only the Regroover Essential (NFR), and found the same offer in my Accusonus account (My offers tab). I don't know much about their products, though.

Edit: seems to be available also here https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... -Essential

I got the bundle a while ago and kind of annoyed that their developers haven't fixed really basic stuff like in Rhythmiq having no overload protection when loading in a new project (nearly blew my monitor speakers before I knew this happened) and something to avoid non-zero crossing glitches when it mutates a wave on the fly. I like the concept, but the popping sounds mean I never use it. Would have been nice to have built in Midi learn/Midi mapping rather than having to rely on parameter automation in the DAW too. Ho hum.
These days I mainly just stick to XO as I know it won't piss me off to use it.
Nice to know about the midi learning issue. Do you know if regroover works the same way? I was considering buying it, but I believe that this wouldn't be nice to my workflow.

I'm looking at EZBass. The lowest it is now I think is $149 at JRR (?) Was there an intro price I missed?
Anyway, JRR normally have a group-buy discount. I didn't see one of those int he checkout. Does EZbass have a group buy discount I am missing?

Why did you end up with lion, I cannot decide between the two?

They did not do an intro sale. Unfortunately, Toontrack does not allow us to discount through the site.

just a guess, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s still not any cheaper by Black Friday sale time, except they may possibly bundle in their first bass expansion, this seems to be their favourite marketing model now.

I ended up choosing Lion over thorn. If Thorn comes back at the end of the month I'll get it as well.
thorn=dance/trance
Lion=a legitimate sound design tool.
That's what I considered when making the decision.
Lion does take a hell of a lot of work to get it to sound the way you want it though, although I am an amateur at synth sound programming.

CMusic brass stuff is on sale right now if anyone's interested. I think I'll get the Trombone and trumpets.

EZBass is a hugely successful release, its highly unlikely the price will be lower any time soon. Whats more, since Toontrack allow free transfers you could always resell at a decent price point and you'll have a buyer within an hour of your post as it is going to be in such high demand second hand. So I'd buy it now from Best Service, you wont look back, and if you did, you wouldn't lose much on the resell.

Anyone got a coupon for Groove3? I seemed to have already used up the $5 you get when clicking on the Toontrack Facebook link to Groove3.

Ya, I made the same choice yesterday. Lion does seem like it will take some learning, although the effects and GUI are familiar to me from other UA stuff. It seems quite flexible at first glance in its modular setup, but I don't hear people comparing it with other modular synths, like Bazille. Well, I'll have to find time to dig into it--which is part of why I bought it.

OK, so Lion doesn't offer the flexible routing paths that I believe modular synths can do (I don't know modular synths well at all--just messed with VCV Rack and the Glitchmachines one a bit). The signal path of the two oscillators is pretty set, although there are various algorithms for mixing them. The different oscillator types are interesting; not sure yet if they offer anything Zebra's or MSF's oscillator effects can't quite do. I have made a few sounds that were not too shabby. There can be a lot of modulators used in Lion, and there are a bunch of types to explore (haven't seen anything like an MSEG). There are some presets from the artists that had a ton of modulation to the point that they sound like some modular synth stuff I've heard--they play like musical compositions.

The stereo oscillator mode is worth a look
