Hi,
Can Mulab be configured to:
* trigger recording by MIDI in Start event?
* trigger recording by MIDI in Note On event?
* Synchronize its clock on MIDI in Clock events?
When hooking up an Event Monitor, I don't even see the above mentioned messages. I've checked with an external MIDI monitor program, and confirm the messages are received successfully by the MIDI driver.
* Does Mulab filter out type of these messages altogether perhaps?

No.
You can trigger recording using a function shortcut midi message, see http://www.mutools.com/info/M8/docs/com ... tcuts.html* trigger recording by MIDI in Note On event?

Just pointing out that this is the same as "Wait Note" function I requested and another user is asking for it. Although a Start event is more likely an external sequencer's Play button, but the effect is exactly the same as if a note were played to start MuLab's recording to a track.

Thanks for your tip Paljas, but that discussion has already taken place. It works but means constantly changing the shortcut everytime you record something. I can no longer discuss this topic...
